There's more than enough feedback for Disney to work with at this point if they want to bring audiences back. They'd do well to give this a read, for instance:

This one I think sums up the new show pretty well. Like I said elsewhere, it feels like the writers think Kermit needed to be "fixed" in some way. When, if anything, they've taken away what made him a strong leader. Thanks for sharing, Willard!
Lol, good old Japan! :) Can we all just call the movie that from now on?
You're right, the movies did go in a different direction from the jazz, though nothing like what was in that trailer (but like you said, that could just be the trailer).
They do seem to avoiding the worst of the reboot tropes. In any case, I'm not expecting miracles. I doubt we're going to get that moody, meandering quality their earlier projects had. Hollywood just doesn't do that anymore with its corporate branded kid's movies. Like remember in "It's the Great...
I never will understand how utterly terrified some adults become about this stuff, that we constantly have to "hide" things from children. It's ironically a very childish overreaction. And then these are the same adults who complain later that their kids don't know or care about anything outside...
Right, Zack Morris' phone. Oh wait, that wasn't even foldable, lol.
Sheesh though, a ton of over thinking going on with these kid's show. Like I remember seeing those stwo piece 1900s phone all the time on TV as a kid. My brain didn't explode. Somewhere along the line I just learned that was an...
And we wouldn't want the precious kiddies to ever at any moment of their lives be confused. Then parents might have to actually do their jobs and, you know, answer questions! :concern:
(Not directed at you, D'Snowth, just at that mentality SW seems to have)
OK finally watched the trailer. Actually, Charlie Brown's speech at the beginning was spot on, a good sign!
The use of that song in the trailer kinda makes me cringe, what happened to jazz? It's not like kids are going to recognize that song, so why use it? And the charm of Peanuts is that...
All jokes are not created equal. Just because a joke on Muppet Show is surface level similar to this new show doesn't mean it's of the same spirit. When Kermit put down their acts on Muppet Show, it was because he was the long suffering straight man who had to put up with their weird tastes...
Muppets Take Manhattan showed that very well in little ways, like when Piggy says, "Gonzo, is Camilla alright?" and "Janice, everybody, I'm glad to see you too..." She's not someone who would forget their names. Now granted MTM is one of the most sentimental Muppet projects ever, but it's not...
Again, quit being the Muppet martyr. ;)
Since when does preferring Jim Henson's work (how utterly foolish and unheard of!) equal quitting the franchise?
Wow...I'm kind of at a loss for words right now...
OK...glad you approve...
The Muppet Movie wasn't trying too hard to be sophisticated and mature. It just was. :)
No offense, but you don't even seem to understand what their minds are saying. I get that you're frustrated for the franchise, but you're making a lot of hostile assumptions here.
Fans. Just fans.
Am I seriously the only one who loved that Ted Danson episode? Lol
It's not that they don't want something new. It's that when they see something not working, they scream, "Go back to the last thing that worked!" Makes sense.
Yes, humans are inconsistent. Welcome to Earth. :D
I really...
MT was a carbon copy of Muppet Show? News to me!
Which describes literally no one I've talked to about this show. If you guys want to support this show, it's important to understand what the actual criticisms are. Rather than maintain this defensive "fans vs not real fans" mentality.
