You're not alone, actually, my dad can't eat lobster either - not for the same reason as you though, actually, the same reason why I can't eat lasagna.

The only additive I'll accept in mac and cheese is lobster; Red Lobster's is to die for, but sometimes if I make it myself, and lobster tails happen to be on sale at the store, I'll dice up some lobster meat and toss it in.

It's actually one of the most bland store brand boxed mac-n-cheeses there is. Just stick with regular Kraft dinner, or better yet, some Bob Evan's is pretty good.
