I have to admit I do enjoy seeing Telly on the show, and besides I always enjoy seeing the Telly and Oscar "friendship" growing up. :)
To me Telly brings to the show a sense of normality, I mean he just like an average adult with a hobby but shares a variety of emotions that we all experience...
Here's a clip from the 2004 daytime emmy awards showing a tribute to Sesame street during their 35th anniversary.

Makes you wonder what they got plan for the 40th anniversary, doesn't it ? :insatiable:
Wow, for a 40th year series, that is one bad present to start things off. :sympathy:
Still, I don't understand how a non-profit organization like Sesame workshop is able to keep all of those people on the payroll and still have to cut some people off ? :(
At times like these it would be nice to see one of those marathon funraisers to rasie money to save PBS, while seeing new SS stuff and other PBS shows for kids and remind the public of how they differ from the other channels. :sympathy:
In honor of the 40th anniversary, I would like to ask all of you SS fans, what is your favorite Sesame Street television moment ?
In other words, what Special memories which the SS cast guest stared on other Television shows do you like the most ?
That's right in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the show, we have a special Food Network Challenge show, centered all around Sesame Street. :wisdom:
It features Big Bird, Cookie, Elmo and Oscar immoralize into cakes.
It's being produced next month, but it set to air in Novemember of...
I once had this weird dreaming of the Sesame Street gang appearing in the NBA All-star game and challenging the NBA All-stars to a 3 mintue game and that got me thinking...
If that were to ever happen, who would you want on a usual NBA regulations team of NBA all-stars vs Sesame Street gang ?
What I mean is that why isn't there any DVD centering around the Show's "Traveling" episdoe arcs where they went to Hawaii and Montana even "South of the border" ?
I have to say it was a good moments in the show, I mean the Grover moment had a " Near and Far" reference.
The Elmo One was kind of Freaky for a mintue or two, but I did Miss the Oscar moment though. :(
Still, it was a great way of incorperating the Shows ideals into an adult show like...
But it makes sense given the show's birthday in November. :)
Also all this talk about the enviorment, does anyone think :grouchy: might play a major factor into opposing the gang's chances in to making it a clean street ?
I mean do you all know how VH1 would always do these countdowns of certain songs of a certain era or gender of music, or how they would produce these one hour shows about a certian era or subject. With all of the mention shows full of celebrities talking about the topic at hand.
Well what if...
I think I can see where you're coming from when having Telly be the star of the show for once. Besides, he does deserve some respective role playing after all he been through. :insatiable:
Anyway I would have be :wisdom: showing Abby and extended version of his scrapbook, and for her to ask...
