Comic book rumors Website Bleeding Cool.com has a rumor reguarding the Muppet/Disney/Marvel situation...

Well, in an off-topic thing, they are producing a Word Girl Comic book, and it's by the same company that made the Muppet show comic book.
And there's also Martha Speaks books, which are books based upon episodes from the show.
Still, I don't know if that's enough or not to save some of...
Can the show truly survive on its own without the government money ?
I wonder this question in my own head, can the show truly survive on its own two/four feet without the aid of the government money backing it up ? :(
I'm asking this on behalf of this little article I read on Muppet Mindset...

It made me wonder if the characters and creators of the various PBS shows can go to Congress to argue their case on this...
The Fate of former Muppet Show comic book writer Roger Langridge is finally revealed as he stays with Boom Studios, under their new kid series line retitield Kaboom, in a new series titled Snarked:

I'm willing to bet and hope that Boom gets the Muppets at least for a little longer or maybe Marvel gains the Muppets due to the company's previous history with the characters. :)
Either way who ever gets the gang, lets hope that Roger Landridge is involved with the team again.
You know I was hoping for a Sesame Street traveling themed DVD, but I was hoping it was more on the lines of Big Bird and Grover, who traveled the most throughout the shows history.
I was hoping it was more of a history lesson of Sesame street's past with a mixture of a modern day storyline...
Something tells me that old :insatiable: is such an easier target to make fun of when it comes to the comics...

I must say Elton John must be surprised by the flattery he received by that performance.
Also, even if they aren't the actual Muppets, they're still Muppets regardless since they were created by the Jim Henson Company. :)
Man, if I wasn't a fan of Disney's Darkwing Duck or Rescue Rangers I would have quit the Boom Studios line the moment I've heard the news.
I mean if they had a real good explaination over why thye canceled them, and it was reasonable, then overtime i would have understand it.
Still...
Here's an appearance by the Cookie Monster himself, based upon the latest Marvel Comic storyline event "Fear Itself..."

:insatiable:
At least that what I heard through Muppet Wiki, as the Human cast of the show accompanys The Pink Martini band in a host of Sesame Street songs.
http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Hollywood_Bowl
Also what sort of bugs me was that there no sign of any of the Muppet cast at all, which short of makes...
I found this cute, but it would be kind of fun if Jeff Bridges did guest star on Sesame Street during a future season.
Still a great moment for Cookie Monster indeed.:insatiable:
