Sesame Street Season 12 Episode 1446 - Big Bird Goes to School

I have a question, do they edit out the Cab Calloway song with Count for Honk Around the Clock like how it's on Old School Volume 3?

Question about Jerry's voice for Biff

I heard from an interview with Jerry that Biff was based off of comedian Jack Burns.

    Elmo and Cookie Monster

Plus he’s been Sesame’s most popular character even during the years where Frank wasn’t available. They even included him on the cover of the Sing Yourself Sillier video.

    Elmo and Cookie Monster

That sounds completely fictitious, there has been Cookie Monster merch up the wazoo before Elmo. Cookie Monster is just one of those characters that everyone loves similar to the Swedish Chef and Cookie Monster sells.

    Elmo and Cookie Monster

I love Peter Linz’s Ernie, he seem to get the role down right away plus he has a really good friendship with Eric Jacobson, so that helped.

    Elmo and Cookie Monster

The only performer I had some problems when they were on the show was Billy Barkhurst. He’s a fine puppeteer, but he wasn’t exactly the right choice for Ernie.

    Elmo and Cookie Monster

David Rudman is funny, it just depends on who he gets to interact with. Like the Cookie World episode or his appearance on the Daily show.

    Elmo and Cookie Monster

That sounds completely biased and unfair to David Rudman who is phenomenal with Cookie Monster.

    Elmo and Cookie Monster

Yes, this was from Elmo Saves Christmas. Frank was still performing his characters.

    Elmo and Cookie Monster

my favorite interaction between the two characters was for The Street Where We Live On, where Cookie Monster disguise himself as a baby to get a cookie.

Video: "The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo" YouTube Preview Thursday May 21, 2020

I know some fans were annoyed when during the 2000's when Telly was in a majority of the street scenes, however I think Marty's performance of Telly shows that he is one of the most talented performers.

Frank Oz's appearances throughout his later seasons

A majority of the time it was Eric Jacobson, the only one where it was Frank Oz was where Ernie was on the phone with Bert because he lost Rubber Duckie. (Yes, I know that segment was in a summer rerun of the American show.)

I am just glad some Muppet friends are audience members like Don Music and Roosevelt Franklin.

I am quite curious on how this going to affect Pop-Pop on LH.

The same could be said about how Ernie was in the same area as Frank's character. Even though it seemed that occasionally they film stuff like Ernie and kids moments and Best Friend Blues on the street.

And probably the first time since the late 70s, Grover makes a cameo.
