I meant to ask Marty Grabstein what he knows about the decrease in Courage's dialogue when I meant him last Halloween, but I totally forgot. I was going to ask because different parties have said different things: I know Linda Simensky from Cartoon Network said it was because they felt Courage...
Ooh, great question! So, to break it down season by season. . . .
Season 1 is the gold standard as far as I'm concerned; because the show was still so new, and so unlike other Cartoon Network shows before it, it really stood out in terms of the writing, the characters, the animation, those...
I may be thinking too deeply into this, but seeing how kids today feel as though a typical cartoon show has run its course by the time it reaches its third season, when back in my day, most cartoon shows lasted an average of four seasons, and if it got renewed beyond that, it was a legit...
I mean as long as certain Reps continue to spread misinformation, discourage mask-wearing and vaccinations, and encourage protests and crap, then yeah, this thing is never going to end.
Not to mention her accusations that I, according to her, insulted her heritage, and therefore am racist against Italians, when I, for the life of me, can't remember ever saying anything deragatory about Italians, let alone specifically aimed at her Italian heritage.
That than continuing to bellyache over how much of 2021 was shaped and affected by the never-ending pandemic, I think as we reflect on what kind of year 2021 was, we should just note everything else that has happened and how it's made the year as a whole good and/or bad for the rest of us.
I...
And this is all exactly why it's better for creative people to remain independent and remain in control of their own creativity and artistic vision without having suits calling the shots that you obviously wouldn't agree with.
And yes, I will agree that Ashanti, despite being a Muppet fan...

So let me get something straight here. . . .
The exact same people who have been screaming at the top of their lungs for the past two years everything ranging from the pandemic being a liberal hoax, that the virus is no worse than the flu, that Dr. Fauci has been lying to us, that masks don't...
Pretty good. Buffalo chicken pizza's pretty good too . . . at least both are from CiCi's; I've tried Papa John's version of both, but honestly wasn't entirely impressed with either.
It's just now occured to me that aside from MIKE, LU & OG, the only other classic CN show that never got a comic book adaptation was TIME SQUAD . . . granted, MIKE, LU & OG did get some love in some of the coloring and activity books they came out with in the early 2000s, and even SHEEP IN THE...
I mean I hope they'll at least get along with each other; usually already-established house pets don't take kindly to newbies in their territory. I mean, I don't know if that's a problem with birds, but I do know other domesticated animals are like this.
Apparently? 🤷♂️
EDIT: Looking into it a little more, apparently this is why everybody is crapping on Lindsay for how "racist" she is. . . .
And apparently, she just dug her own grave even deeper by comparing the backlash against her to that of a transwoman who was harassed to the point that...
I don't know what's going on, but apparently Lindsay Ellis is now completely dropping off the grid . . . all because she was practically crucified for comparing a Disney movie to a Nickelodeon movie, and that apparently made her racist.
I'm not going to deny that this is pretty much what it feels like this pandemic has become, however, the ones who are to blame for this are the exact people who are making memes like this.
