I'm not so sure. This is the THIRD time EB has sold out on Bunsen since he went up for sale originally... I'm starting to think they've got their own Muppet Factory in their warehouse... :D
WHAT ARE THE OTHER TWO KEN?!? TELL US, TELL US PLEEEEEEASE! :D
Also, if Janice isn't coming with the hospital... can we have a hint?
*crosses fingers and chants "Penguins, Penguins, Penguins...*
Uhhhh... no.
EBGames.com is sold out of their first couple shipments of Muppets--but they almost certainly have more at the EB Distribution Center that haven't been shipped to them yet. Just because stores can't order anymore from Palisades does NOT mean that what they have on the shelves now...
Couple things to comment on... First...
<<I think this line tanked because the WWE product has been terrible for the last year or better.
There really weren't that many exclusives, just the Mail away Lita and Kurt Angle (and those were pretty easy to get).
I even saw a Team Extreme on the...
Eep.
Are you sure that that many people will buy Crazy Harry? Fozzie and Gonzo will undoubtedly have a high demand, whereas Harry is... well... totally obscure... At 3 per case for a character with a tiny part on "The Muppet Show" that's almost non-existent in the movies and has poor...
Rizzo needs to be *THE* figure in Series 5, doesn't he? Except to the most diehard of the diehard, I don't see a miniature non-articulated PVC being the banner figure of ANY series.
An idea for Ken, though: An in-scale slightly-articulated Rizzo wouldn't take much more work than say, the...
I don't like the idea of making Rizzo any smaller than Palisades is already planning AT ALL. The problem with that is, as we've seen with other toy lines, the smaller the figure the less articulation you get and the less detail you get. I want my Rizzo to be AT LEAST as poseable as Kermit, and...
<< Looking at the list - i think Waves 3 & 4 are really extremely obscure>>
Luke--
I have to totally disagree with you here. Waves 3 & 4 include ROWLF! SCOOTER! JANICE! SAM THE EAGLE! ZOOT! SWEDISH CHEF! These are big, MAJOR characters. Rowlf and Scooter were in Muppet Babies so everyone...
Yeah, keep in mind that the sheep...errr... scalpers are buying up EVERYTHING Muppets... because Toyfare told them to! :D
Once we get about a half dozen of these type of ultra-limited figures on the market, watch in amazement as disgruntled collectors give up and prices on these pieces...
Ken--
As luck has it, myself and a friend were planning on attending WizardWorld Chicago even before Beaker was announced... but we're not going until the Saturday/Sunday event days. How is Vanishing Cream Beaker going to be handled? I fear that you'll stick all 1,000 out Friday morning and...
I adore the figures... Bunsen and his Robo-Rabbit have taken a coveted spot on top of my computer with Ralph Wiggum from "The Simpsons", Super Saiyan Young Trunks & Young Goten from "Dragonball Z", and the old Triple-Changer Springer from the G1 "Transformers". Unfortunately, liking the figures...
<<The Wizard Radioactive Homer Simpsons figure easily gets $150.00 on ebay, and there are 10,000 of those.>>
That was once upon a time. The market is falling out on the Simpsons figures now. I have a Radioactive Homer MIB on eBay now that ends tomorrow that's currently at 60 bucks--I don't...
Got Bean...?
Forgive me if this has been answered and I missed it... but is there any chance of a BEAN BUNNY...?
True, I don't remember Bean doing... well... ANYTHING important on the show... but he's the STAR of the Muppets 3-D Exhibit at DisneyWorld! That must count for something, right? :D
