    Kermit back on Sesame

In Australia it is on free to air ABC/ABC2(that's Australian Broadcasting Corporation, not your ABC) but that is no use to you. You should have it on Noggin channel, but I think that is a subscription channel.

    Kermit back on Sesame

Kermit was again on Play With me Sesame today. He was singing with 2 cows and a dog and other animals joined in and then Kermit was thrown into the air.Ernie had his baby cousin with him, baby Ernisteen! And Cookie Monster was doing a Rap about healthy food(Vegetables), which I know is a new...

    Next Muppet Replicas: Gonzo, Animal

I asked Amy on the master Replicas forum about the Muppet shipping latest, and this is what she said "I believe that both muppets will not be offered until later in the year." Looks like they will then be released together.

    Next Muppet Replicas: Gonzo, Animal

A flocked vinyl head(cast from the original studio mould) would look the same.Only you wouldnt be able to pose the mouth, but only a minor set back rather than seeing a foam piggy discintergrate! Maybe they could use a soft vinyl like the Fisher Price Piggy puppet so the mouth could still be...

    Muppet Show Sequence Confusion

I got a reply back and just as I thought, it IS a typo.Ruth Buzzi is correct at May 25-27, 1976 but Rita Moreno should be filmed the week of June 3, 1976.I thought it would be nearly impossible to rehearse and film 2 Muppet Shows in 1 week with the amount of effort needed with such a show.

    Muppet Show Sequence Confusion

From what I read, the 2 pilots start off saying recorded the "week" of...., but after that, it gets specific and lists them in 3 day groupings.I will email Karen Falk and see what she says.

    Kermit back on Sesame

From what I have seen, most of the clips are new.It is a different Ernie and Bert in it and I havent seen the clips before. It is definately Steve Whitmire doing Ernie. The Kermit & Grover sketch might have been file footage but I did see 2004 where Kermit was given credit at the end of the show.

    Muppet Show Sequence Confusion

The double dates were May25-27,1976-only 3 days! I know "Thunderbirds" recorded 2 episodes at a time using recorded dialogue and replicated puppets and sets but I have never heard this technique being used with The Muppets, although they had the resources as they had more than one of each...

A Miss Piggy Question that Ive had for about 10 years

Yes, it was widely publicised that Miss Piggy was based on Hot Lips, especially the time when Lorreta Swit appeared on the show.Miss Piggy was in the Planet of the Pigs sketch on the Sex and Violence Muppet Show pitch. Then she had beads for eyes and was puppeteered by Fran Brill. She also...

    Kermit back on Sesame

I think this was around 2004?(The Kermit and Grover sketch-Grover has to open and close a door to make the lamp work.It gets dark and you can only see Grover's and Ernie's eyes(like in the Simpsons).
