If I were you, I would go for a MR Animal. There are some good deals if you look, and if the new company does make him, it wont be as cheap. And then again, by the time you wait till you find out if the company is or isnt making him, you could miss out altogether.:halo:

Couldn't Kermit be the face of all of the Muppets ?

Because of the confusion issue.People see kermit out the front and go on a Tour of the studio lot and are disapointed to see no muppets, a la Jason Segel.Although one good thing to come out of that is the push for a new muppet movie.Disneyland would be a great spot for the Statue because...

I guess they will need to liquidate their remaining "Animal" stock as they wont be selling many at $199 when you can get them $100 cheaper.

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Couldn't Kermit be the face of all of the Muppets ?

True. Maybe they should remove it and relocate it to Disneyland and the Jim Henson Company could get another of their characters to take off Charlie Chaplain.I wonder, which of the current JHC characters, would make a good Charlie chaplain? Maybe Hoggle, or Gobo Fraggle or maybe even Jim Henson...

    Save the Fozzie Replica

Looks like Master Replicas has finally been sold.It did look like before that Corgi sold to Popco, but apparently it didnt proceed as it says that Factory Entertainment bought it from Corgi.

Couldn't Kermit be the face of all of the Muppets ?

Which is why Disney have taken away Jim Henson's signature that used to be above the logo on attractions and products.

Couldn't Kermit be the face of all of the Muppets ?

Kermit is the face of the Muppets, but cant be the face of the other shows because technically they are not Muppets and Jim Henson Company and Sesame Workshop can no longer use Kermit.

    Muppet censorship

There are a lot of muppet censored issues, basically brought about by copyright clearance, such as songs being omitted on the Muppet Show DVDs because Disney couldnt get the release for them, and other Productions under Henson, Such as Emmet otter's Jug Band Christmas, removing the Kermit scenes.
