I came across this picture of an animatronic Bunsen, that I thought I would share.It probably came out of the Muppets 3D attraction.Unfortuately, he has since been painted white and turned into a Snowman for a Christmas display!

No.The robot in the picture is a mass produced robot from the 1980's that I am trying to identify so I can buy one as it is pretty much what 80s Robot is modelled on, right down to the decals.

Wasnt he? Anyway, I wish someone could tell me the name/brand of the original robot in the picture.

Does anybody know what the background chant is, in Rihanna's song "Dont Stop The Music"? I Googled the lyrics and it isnt included.It sounds like "I'm the same on the sound of Microsoft"!

A Muppet takes in many forms.It doesnt have to be foam constructed or puppeteered.A Muppet can be anything from a worm,book,hand puppet,full costume,or even dancing pipe cleaners or feather bowers.What about Vedaface or other Muppet robots?

It is hard to find a spot for this thread as it is Muppet related.Can anybody ID this robot? It is the exact robot that Disney have modelled the muppet 80's Robot on.The closest I can find is a Tomy Omnibot 2000, but that head is more circular.

TheCreatureWork, thanks for the Henson Stitch video link.Now that I finally know how it is done, I can see that it was designed to sew a puppet without having to turn the puppet inside out, which could take a bit of getting used to! So can it be applied if you wanted to sew something back to...

I dont go to Maccas that often.Just tempted by the Smurf toys, but I have already missed out on one.It is less frustrating to just buy a complete set on ebay without having to go on a tour of all the Maccas in my area!!LOL!

....and the 80's robot! I hope McDonalds in Australia also have the promotion.McDonalds here currently have Smurf toys and there are lots of figures and they are releasing 2 at a time.One can only hope that they do the same for the Muppets.

Yes! He is foremost the Swedish Chef.In my opinion, I dont see why the character should change because of a different country of manufacter or language.Dubbed languages are so the people of that country can understand him without him becoming that nationality.

Does anybody have a Muppet Palette for sale? Everybody on ebay will not ship internationally.It's a great item to have that ties in with the Muppet lyrics.."It's time to put on make up"!
