I'd say the price is a little high, but that particular doll came out around 1996, so it's not easy to find today (outside of eBay). So if you want it, I'd highly consider getting her.
It's now time to vote for your favorite entry in the Ode to Rowlf bust contest!
We received a total of 40 entries. It wasn't easy, but Muppet Central staff members narrowed it down to eight finalists. Because Cindy processed the entries as they were received, she knew the entrants' names and...
All of these details will be covered tomorrow morning. We'll do everything possible to ensure the Rowlf bust giveaway is handled fairly for all participants.
If you are playing the DVD on your television, you may want to try the commentary on your computer (if possible). It may help in diagnosing the problem.
Chris,
Glad you got to see Gonzo, Rizzo and Jason Giambi on Sportscenter.
Here's an article that has Kermit and Gonzo that looks like it was shot at the same time. Apparently they were at Toys R Us and appeared on "Good Morning America" as well...
The top eight finalists and their "Odes to Rowlf" will be announced on the front of Muppet Central tomorrow morning (around 9 am Central Standard Time). Everyone will have a chance to vote on their favorite ode for three days until Monday morning. The procedures for the voting will be outlined...
We now begin round five of Muppet Survivor. You can vote for the next seven days. Choose your character then post your case below.
Bear got the boot in round 4. Kermit was kicked off in round 3. Flange Doozer was booted off in round 2 and Hoggle was kicked off Muppet Island in round 1...
Jogchem,
There are some things we are finishing up in order for the "Ode to Rowlf" contest to enter the next phase. The top eight entries will be announced as soon as possible. As originally planned, everyone will be able to vote for 72 hours (3 days) after the finalists are announced. The...
Our fourth Christmas menu of the holiday season just went on-line on Muppet Central's home page. Join many of your favorite characters in Moulin Scrooge from "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie". Let us know what you think about our latest holiday menu designed by James Carroll.
We'll...
We have talked about this before, but I can't believe some of the sequels they are doing. "The Jungle Book" has always been my Disney favorite since I was a little boy. What's the storyline of the new movie? The music makes the original in my opinion. Just hate to see them once again doing this...
Gonzo and Rizzo will be on ESPN's Sportscenter. Look for them throughout the show tonight.
If you miss the first airing it typically repeats throughout the night and tomorrow morning.
Let us know what you think of Gonzo and Rizzo when you see it!
Yeah, the NBC Christmas release is a whole other category. It's not a theatrical movie, nor just a special (as Muppet fans are used to anyway). Hopefully it's the beginning of a nice line of made-for-tv films.
Ken's mentioned before that the Bear on Patrol Fozzie sculpt is done, so it's likely just a matter of time before he sees the light of day in 2003 or 2004.
Hi Kevin,
Great questions and it should be a good discussion!
What did you think about the new 30 minute special that was on Sunday night? Especially in light of the new special that was produced for Valentines. Which did you prefer and why?
I only saw about half of it myself. I'll...
Nate,
From what I have been told, EM.TV is considering all options and if it brings significantly more money breaking up the Creature Shop from JHC is sadly a possibility.
Keep in mind though, that the REAL issue behind all of this is time. EM.TV owes 64 million in the next few weeks. So...
A new editorial is on-line from Jim Hill. He takes a look at the various Henson suitors and what they bring to the table, along with why Disney's possible hopes of buying the franchise may directly link to the Anaheim Angels.
Check it out below and let us know what you think...
Jim sent me a similar editorial as well this morning and it did have the correct title listed. It will be on-line shortly.
Not that he needs the affirmation, but Jim Hill has very good sources and contacts within Henson. In fact, I would say they are some of the best contacts possible...
This special has been released to video three times in the US and Canada: 1994 by Disney, 1998 by Columbia Tri-Star, and 2001 by Columbia Tri-Star on DVD. The total running time of the video release is 42 minutes and 16 seconds (with Disney's opening logo on the 1994 version) and 42 minutes and...
Tom,
The Daryl Hannah episode aired on Sunday February 8, 1998. It was the last new episode to air. Between "Best Of" (12/21/97) and "Daryl Hannah" (02/08/97), Disney aired re-runs or episodes that had previously been seen on ABC.
