Usually a scanner is involved, yes. There are so many different mediums. Generally, I do my pencil sketch and then ink them using either a quill pen or Micron Pigma markers (thanks Jay! ;) )... OR I'll scan the pencil sketch into the computer and using a Walcom tablet; I'll "ink" it in Adobe...

Bill Baretta is my absolute favorite current performer, he deserves so much more credit then he is due. I truly believe that if anyone can bring the Muppets into pop culture/mainstream and still maintain their timeless belovedness, Bill is the man to do so.
