Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Of course! If anyone here ever gets the chance, I'd like some feedback on my 5-part The Rise and Fall of Puppetry Club series. Really personal stuff for me, I'd like hear some reactions.
And Ryan, is there any other stuff you need reviewed? I'll try to cover it if you want. I know I have an...
Ha-ha.
Whoever sends the next batch of questions to Jim, make sure you send him this link on Dinosaur Train so he's in the know: http://pbskids.org/dinosaurtrain/
But I do have a question for you. I was checking out your IMDB page for productions to ask about and I found one thing I've never...
Gave you a shout out on my seldom-visited blog! http://bobthepizzaboy.blogspot.com/2009/08/bobthepizzaboy-crosses-over-onto-blogs.html :)
(Speaking of which, can you folks please come check out my blog as well? I need an audience! :o)
I think it might be the fact that hoods are closer to material the Muppets are made from than a latex mask would. I see where your coming from, but since the SST Muppets are a bit more "cute-and-cuddly" hoods just seem to fit the bill.
A new addition to the Sesame Street Halloween costumes group!

I'm honestly torn between going with these or the Muppet Show costumes for my big Halloween 2009 plans. :sympathy:
Hey everybody!
Perhaps you can help me. I need two episodes of Sesame Street: Episode 3105 (Telly pretends to be Mr. Handford Sr.) and Episode 3135 (Big Bird and Snuffy have an Adventure). If anyone has these episodes, respond to this thread and I'll PM you my trade list.
Pass. It's good LionsGate is putting out Fraggle DVD's for the kids but with the final season coming out the same day, this DVD is absolutely useless for me.
I can't believe you guys. We complain since the advent of DVD to get classic Sesame Street material and Sesame Workshop gives us exactly what we want, we just keep complaining about how it isn't enough or how we want to change it. A two-disc set aimed at adult and nostalgic collectors as never...
Why complain? Look at all we're getting/got for Sesame Street's 40th:
A wonderful coffee table book that will blow Unpaved away in quality
A brilliant and comprehensive book on the trials and tribulations and bright spots of the show's history
A wonderful 2-disc DVD collection that has nearly...
Words can't describe how amazing that would be.
I wouldn't mind if Jerry Seinfeld made a guest spot on the Street. Weird Al Yankovic would be hilarious, I could totally picture him annoying the heck out of Oscar. I also think Rocky & Bullwinkle could have been used in some animated inserts.
I don't watch Desperate Housewives, I'll wait for someone to put this bonus feature up on YouTube. Disney did say that the Muppet performers were doing some stuff for ABC season sets, I'd suppose this is it.
Being born in 1991, I was born in the midst of the home video boom and right at the start of the Jim Henson Video era which meant I had about 74% of the titles that were released by Henson in that era. Naturally, the first TV show I remember watching is Sesame Street and it was my favorite show...
By the looks of it, so far it looks like we're getting:
Monster in the Mirror
Some random animation insert
The Banana-In-The-Ear skit
Some Zoe insert
Herry and John John skit
Letter I animation?
Elmo's World episode
Monsterpiece Theater skit
Fonzie on the letter A?
Song of 1
Droid street scenes...
Inglourious Basterds? Yeah, I'd go see it. It'd be my first Tarantino movie ever, I hope it's a good one to start with. I'll do it to support Weinstein, though. They really need a hit.
