My Report: Disney World & The Muppets - PLEASE READ!

The full bodied Kermit and Piggy costumed characters still appear in the "Stars in Motor Cars" parade daily in MGM, so they're not completely retired. Interestingly enough though; the painted backdrop of a gazaebo in Springtime that was used for the Muppet costumed photo op is still there. As...

    My Three Point Plan

With respect to Luke and this thread; I think the lack of responses to it are a sign of the times. And that sign is the slowly and very sad realization and acceptance that the Muppets really aren't what they used to be. When IAVMMC came out, anyone who said anything bad about it here was...

    Fraggle Intro SWF

I believe that if you have an mpeg video of it, the new Flash Studio MX2 can convert it to SWF. Just import the video.

    Old Sound Effects Library

I heard a rumor that Disney's Goofy's infamous "Wah-ha-ha-ha-hooey!" yelp is copyrighted. Is that true?

    Kermit on Family Guy

THAT... was hillarious. Stewie's comment made me sigh, but otherwise, the animation of Kermit flailing his arms and running away made me laugh so hard I cried.

    Indiana Jones

I totally agree with you on Crusaders. Best one. It was actually Temple that was the first one I saw and got me hooked. Indy is Harrison Ford's BEST character. And does anyone know if the fourth Indy film rumors are true? Are they really currently making another starring Harrison Ford and Sean...

Your Thoughts: Kermit hosts Extreme Makeover Home Edition

I thought it was pretty good. Not crazy about Steve's version of Rainbow Connection, but for the most part it was nice to see Kermit more like Kermit, not some sarcastic mench. Was it me though, or did it sound sometimes like Steve was going hoarse?

Vic Romano's Weekly Creative Muppet Visuals

Hi everyone! I am so unbelievably sorry that I'm still delaying this visual so many worked on, I really am, please accept my apologies. The good news is the artist's visual is finished, the bad news is I can't post it for at least another week. I'm back in the office today, but only briefly...

    Artistic Suffocation

It's wonderful. You're always a hop skip or jump away from being greatly entertained. Having so many artists of all genres, you're subjected to some of the best in the bussiness, and it attracts outside artists as well from all around the world. In the summer there are always outdoor concerts...

    The Muppet Matrix Trailer

This deserves an award! Holy crow that was sweet! I loved Beaker as the one agent!!! Often you see very rigid computer animation from students as yourself, but this is really tremendous!

    Artistic Suffocation

I'm selfishly on the other end of the spectrum. Where you use the term "artistic suffocation", here in NY and NJ, I use the term "artistic saturation". There are so many outlets for art and theatre here that; while there's always opportunity to develop, learn and express these artforms; there...

Do the Academy Awards need a new category?

It's funny, because when I saw the title of this thread and after having sat through the mind numbing 3 hour obsequious rant where everyone in Hollywood thought they needed to butter themselves up even more, I thought; do we really need another category? (What the heck is a Live Action Short...
