Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Recently, after "Journey to Ernie" they showed "Do De Rubber Duckie" which featured Ernie singing in the tub with a lot of Muppets like Guy Smiley, Telly, Oscar, Kermit, The Count, Biff, Gladys and Hoots. Guy Smily sang a line in the song.

Let us know what you think of the appearance. As Scott mentioned, this may likely be a re-run of his appearance from December promoting "A Very Merry Muppet Christmas". It's still an excellent appearance. You won't...
Yeah, if you are reading this, take a couple minutes and send Sideshow an e-mail. Request a sixth wave of busts with especially Floyd! Sweetums and Robin, Rizzo and Pepe would also make great additions.
If everyone here took the time to write, it would likely make a difference.
Actually, this song was not in the TV special. It was only for the 1979 album release, "John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together". This is still in print on CD and cassette. Sounds like you already have it though.
Be sure to request a Floyd bust as well. Other possibilities for wave 6 include: Sweetums with Robin, Rizzo and Pepe. Floyd is the biggest omission in my opinion though since all the other Electric Mayhem members are in bust form.

Here's some more info on the upcoming Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss DVD. It will include the following episodes:
The Cat in the Hat Cleans Up His Act
When the Cat in the Hat loses his bow tie in his very messy Cat’s Playhouse, it’s cleaning time!

All of these songs never appeared on an official Henson/Sesame release.
They did, however, appear on a Peter Pan Records release. These songs were sung but not by the original performers and Muppeteers. It was titled "Animal House sings and plays THE MUPPET SHOW THEME and other HIT SONGS from...
The Kermit and Animal scenes were edited on VHS due to the sexual overtones one could remotely interpret by hearing them. It is a pretty big reach, but something Columbia likely wanted to do. Thankfully though, they were returned to original form for the DVD release.
In the United States, the 1999 VHS release of Muppets Take Manhattan did have Animal's panting and Kermit's huffing muted, however the 2001 DVD release does not include these audio edits to the film.
The Christmas Toy has never been released on DVD in the United States, only VHS. Actually, my hunch would be that the UK Muppet Family Chirstmas DVD would be the same as the UK video release. This is not based on any fact, it just seems likely it will follow that pattern instead of being the...
These will likely be available on-line from a variety of places. We will have to see if you will be able to get them locally. I doubt if they will be that widely distributed.
No, it is indeed Guy. Both of the "What's My Part?" skits are on the 1974 record "Play Along Songs". The record was later renamed to "Somebody Come and Play".
Twenty-two of the songs (1/3 of them) have never been released on cassette or CD. Twelve of them are long out-of-print and not available on CD's that are currently on the market.
Actually, vinyl has come back in niche majors for it's nostalgia value. We will try to get these songs on Muppet Central Radio so that everyone can hear them.
