This is probably a no-go. Palisades would have to buy rights for each individual celebrity dramaticly increasing their costs. Also sculpting a human figure is quite a bit different than sculpting a Muppet figure, especially if you want to keep them in scale. It's just not practical.

That's a hard question to answer. It really depends how much ground you are trying to cover in the piece. It's good to sometimes ask... "Does this part enhance my point or does it slow things down and nobody would miss it?" That being said, it's always easier to shorten something a little bit...
