Oh thanks, anytimepally!
I forgot to say, I loved Orko, he was probably my favorite character, I just hated pretending to be him. Everyone else got to run around flailing sticks as swords and whatnot. I had to pretend to float around and wave my arms and cheer He-Man on.
Now I'm a jaded and...
D'oh! I was rushing last night. I'm sorry, David! Thanks for the correction, Ed.
I did a search on ebay and Muppet Wiki, but no luck. I thought if I had a specific name, I'd have better luck.
Quite possibly. I know there was definitely Kermit and Piggy and I'm 90% sure Animal was a character...
Well, I went to school for both illustration and graphic design, but I've only ever used Photoshop. A lot of people sing praises about Microsoft Paintshop Pro, but that's almost as expensive as Photoshop.
Well, this was before the MHC changes that came after Mikey E. went away, so I have no idea.
Here's a tutorial I made a while back about posting links to pictures here at MC. It's a little dated because the forum's gone through some renovations since I originally posted it, but it's still...
Yeah, the other night I was flipping through the channels for somethin' to watch and "The Wonder Years" was on, and I went nuts. I was all like: "OMG! I L:flirt:VE this show!" And as I'm watching, I was thinking; "Was the acting always this bad?" I guess that's partially what they mean when they...
I remember being a kid, and thinking that there was no such thing as a bad movie because I loved every movie I saw, no matter how bad it was. But then that He-Man movie came out and I was like, "What a piece of crap!" That was the day I lost my childhood innocence.
We lost so many Garbage Pail...
Isn't that so awesome though? Now that everything is coming out on DVD, I'm realizing that the shows I once adored really seem dated and aren't as "special" to me as they used to be. But the Muppets... well, they get me everytime. What great staying power they have.
Thanks, that was worth the watch again.
Here's the Simpson clip. This is truly priceless.
EDIT 1: And here's that Elvis/Celine Dion clip. This was so phenominal, I bought it on iTunes.
EDIT 2: Celine Dion is hot and is such a tremendous performer, and Elvis is the mother ******* MAN!
You know, I don't think I ever saw "Hey Cinderella". :smirk: But I used to rent "The Frog Prince" once a week. I used to go around singing "I'm nineteen, I'm nineteen" all the time.
They flash Venom for a split second and he looked awesome! I'm buying my tickets for opening day this afternoon!
Does anyone know if that clip on "American Idol" last night is from the movie or just something they made specifically for the episode last night?
We used to trade He-Man figures all over my neighborhood (and Garbage Pail Kids too!). We also used to play He-Man in Kindergarden too. My best friend always got to be He-Man/Prince Adam, and because I was "the nerdy kid" I always had to be Orko... I hated being Orko.
Oh I hate coloring. I completely color in Photoshop now. Draw the art in traditional medium, then scan it in the computer. I only enjoy coloring with colored pencil because of the control of shading. But it's so grainy and lacks the smoothness of ink.
As troublesome as Jim Hill may be, I'm glad he's around. We need someone to keep things shaken up, and I'm glad he's willing to talk about the Muppets. Remember, there's no such thing as bad publicity! :sing:
