Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Well I guess this proves PePe's popularity, an interesting choice too, it should be funny. Although I have to agree with Colbynfriends about the title; PePe hates being called a shrimp, maybe he'll address it in the book.
On a more serious note, how involved will Bill be in this? I hope it's...
I saw a clip of that fly movie the other night on Letterman I think, and wasn't really impressed with the look of it. Robinson's was fun, but a little too hyper. I agree with someone's comments about not expanding more on the family, they were really entertaining.
Watched a tiny bit of the cycling and some of the rowing (not America's forté, but we didn't do terrible either). The stadiums and tracks China have built are beautiful.
That's cool. I used to love the Golden Horseshoe Review when it was in WDW (wasn't it Diamond Horseshoe Review in Florida?) But now all we have is the Hoopty Doo, which I love even more.
It's here! I love the Olympics, it's very Muppety to me too. So root here for your country (Go USA!), keep everyone updated on events and post your national pride.
Currently it's the "Parade of Nations", my favorite part. :)
I haven't updated MY Deviant Art account in I think 6 months, and of course, this has been in a stalemate. I've mentioned it, but I'm desperately looking for a new job, so this sort of stuff isn't on my top priority list. However, I'll jet over there just so I can see your stuff!
Wow, I just read this and it made me all emotional. Thanks guys, that's so sweet... you've totally made my day! Maybe one day I'll pick this thread back up.
I'm just asking a question because Ms. P makes a good point; how much influence does Disney and other property owners have over MC? I'd be really interested hearing some behind the scenes stories (I've said that a thousand times before).
I think mods and Phil are doing a great job. I've been a...
Frank's like a rock star, he left when he was on top and you can't thumb your nose at that. This is Jim's best friend we're talking about, and I admire the man tremendously.
Just out of curiosity, Frank most likely keeps in touch with Dave and Jerry I'd imagine, right? Like a phone call here or...
Oh yes, I mean, I fit the bill myself. I think a lot of these shows are terrible. I mean, I can't believe how much they talk down to kids, and these clearly aren't your father's Muppets, or ours either. It makes you wonder what audience the Muppets should go after. Do we, the generation Xers...
My Sirius car model records 45 minutes, but the second the unit is turned off, it's gone. I know a way or two I could record the show, but it wouldn't be clean or direct and there'd be a lot of background noise. Maybe I could run a patch cord from the headphone jack to the mic jack and record...
Holy crap! I love Laugh Break! Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to record it and I'll post it? I can listen online and in my car, and I have a Mac. Any technical info to help and I'll do my best to share the show.
