It may seem silly, but a new figure involves thousands and thousands of additional dollars in research, sculpting and tooling whereas a repaint of a completed sculpt is much less time intensive.
Of course everyone (myself included) would prefer a new sculpt or figure instead of a repaint. But...
The theater is a good choice. Ken has been talking about a desire to a do a large theater since before series 1 arrived on shelves. If it was in scale with the backstage playset it would be nothing short of amazing. But does it seem a little odd that Travis would mention something "so big" and...
In this month's ToyFare, there is a sneak peak at upcoming Muppets including something "so big" according to Palisades' Travis Allen.

For fun, if you could choose any one REALISTIC product Travis' "so big" comment could be refering to, what would you like to see? For fun, state your one...
The production run on 7 was much bigger than series 8. You should be able to get series 7 for quite awhile (even the repaints). Series 8, on the other hand, won't be as easy to track down a few months from now.
Thanks Anthony. I'll make it worth your while. You may want to call though before you make that long drive to see if series 8 arrived.
I will post here once I get a couple though so everyone can stop looking. If I haven't posted, then I still need a Shifty Sam.
:attitude:
Killer Toys is sold out of Shifty Sam's as of Monday. I was a little late on that deal. Appreciate the help though.
Hopefully someone else can come through...
We don't have a Suncoast within six hours or a comic store nearby who is selling the figures locally. Therefore, I'm seeking one or two Shifty Eyed Sam's MOC. If ANYONE can help with this it would be greatly appreciated.
I would be willing to trade any of the these figures straight-up for a...
Like I've said before, Disney's Muppets inherently refers to something new, different and branded whereas Jim Henson's Muppets refers to a fifty year character legacy. Which you prefer is a matter of your perspective.
Obviously I'm in the Jim Henson's Muppets camp because of tradition and the...
I wouldn't be surprised if they did one character set in 2005 and another Wizard of Oz set. Having Oz be in PVC's would let Palisades explore the likenesses without taking up controversial slots in the last year of the line.
Yes, Jerry is still actively involved with the Muppets. As active as the performers are these days that is.
None of his characters have been recast at this post. Lew Zealand wasn't performed by Jerry in the NBC Christmas movie, but the characters have not been officially recast as in the case...
So far, Shifty Sam is barely in the lead with the Marvin Repaint coming in the rear. Keep the votes coming.
Since the Marvin repaint isn't real popular, what would you have prefered Palisades done with the repaint Marvin?
The Columbia TMS DVD's are currently still available, but they won't be for long either. You can get those here...

Sorry you missed the news. It had been posted here for weeks.
