This is an issue with the new software we are using from Live365. Once they issue a fix we'll update this. You may see random characters inserted like this on a few tracks from time-to-time for the time being though.

This was updated from "Quarto" to "Cuatro" today. The accent in "Número" will cause issues for this to be displayed properly so I can't change that. This is a song that Waiter Grover sings to Fat Blue when he requests the Número Cuatro from the menu.

I'm doing some more testing on MC Radio. The stream will be back on-line in about twenty minutes at 11 am central standard time.

I'll be changing over the stream again in approximately 20 minutes around 11:30 central standard time. You may need to restart your player in order to pick up the station again.

Our changeover has been completed. The stream should function as it does normally. In fact, if everything went smoothly then everything should appear exactly as usual. I will continue to post here as more updates are rolled out.

It isn't strange when you realize it came out in 1970 when most kid's records were sold on 45's. This was the very first single so it's appropriate the cast introduced themselves. It's kind of different to hear it now in 2006 though because Sesame Street has become so iconic, but for 1970 it worked.

The tag on the song says "Sesame Street Theme / Hello" meaning as was mentioned that it was from a 45 single. The "Hello" track you heard was only released once on the very first Sesame Street 45 and never released again. There is an alternate version of "People In Your Neighborhood" from 1970...
