Thanks for posting the link. Did you notice that Disney called the special a "holiday movie"? I like a lot about the special, but it seems as if Disney is trying to indirectly sell this as a full theatrical feature and not a television special with it's higher price point.

Nice thinking out-of-the-box DW. For me it always seemed kind of strange seeing JP Grosse in MCC, MTI and MT given his history against the Muppets. However, your analysis of what "could have happened" behind-the-scenes is very good and quite fun as well.

Yes, Carbon Paper was sung in the Muppet Show Season 4 with Rowlf and Phyllis George. Annie Sue sung it in the Muppet Show Season 3. Rowlf also sang it solo on the "Ol' Brown Ears Is Back" album.
