The only way I've found to double quote is to quote the text, copy it, go back and quote your other one, and paste the first. I can't find any easier way to do it, but it works. ;)
I'm in the same boat as many, I was too young to know who he was at the time. But through his work he has brought joy to so many, so although I concur with you in saying his death was tragic, as it was, I have to smile knowing that though his life was short, it was an amazing and special one. I...
Wait, Bert and Ernie are in Japan, somehow. My friend is from Japan, and he knows Sesame Street. He has a Bert t-shirt. Are there two different versions, or something?
How bout for the next line, "Swaehb, swaehb, this thread is almost wrong"?
Actually this thread is amazing. I read pretty much the whole thing. I guess Steve Whitmire has quite the dedicated fan base, eh? :D
I agree with you. Knowing that in the original picture he wasn't holding Kermit, it's kind of dissapointing. But someone out there is trying, at least. We'll make it our duty to read the book, and not just judge it by it's cover (hee, that metaphor has never been so fitting).
Yep, Gerry Parkes is Canadian. Good guess! My own guess for his age is that he's in his 70's, since he had grey hair when he was still on Fraggle Rock. :excited:
It's on CBS.
I found this on the show site:
Weeknights 12:35AM ET/PT TV14-D
Tonight's Guests: Kermit the Frog, Leelee Sobieski, Tori Amos
Hope that answers all your questions!
Hi all! I'm pretty sure this forum is the right place to put this. Anyone of higher powers, feel free to move it if it belongs in another forum. :)
This past weekend, I was in New York, and while walking through Times Square, I saw this fabulous billboard with Kermit in it! Of course I had to...
It's funny, because he's complaining in the last line about how Jim Henson won't be the one saying, "It's the muppet show!" But the poor man died, and Mr. Whitmire in my humble opinion is doing a swell job as Kermit, so although it was praise for Jim, it was almost a backhanded insult at Steve...
Beauregard, it's kind of sad how some people love it and others hate it. :sympathy:
My theory is that if you were expecting the book plot, you'll be dissapointed, no matter what book of yours is being made into a movie. Unfortunately, that's how it works. But I throughly enjoyed the movie...
Woo! Congrats! I listen to MCR every once and awhile, and when I turned it on today, I saw that it won! Awesome job! :excited:
edit: I typed the wrong sort of "won". Fixed it. :o
I don't have the RealPlayer so I can't watch those clips. Is there a way to get them in another format, or will/ should I download that player to watch them? :smirk:
Aw, thank you!
:D It's so nice that you are trying to help me! I actually feel kinda bad about the shirt comment, but I think I've decided that I will use the first one. ^___^
