I couldn't agree more. I know it's something that us fans have complained about year after year, but within the past two seasons, this REALLY has been the case here. The same 4-5 muppets are used for almost every street scene, there's just no character diversity anymore. It seems as if the...

Liking the new amped up choreography (for it to be a theater show) even if it does sorta remind me of the EMM "Sunny Days" opening, lol. Overall the show seems pretty cute, though I can't wait for them to go back to using 16-17 performers...
This picture is from the SSL show Silly Dancing:

My question was is that a full bodied Oscar costume? I know they have one where you can see his feet stick out from the bottom of his trash can, but in this pic, is that his...
Wow, too much Mater? Mater is cool, but only in small doses..VERY small doses. Not much of a Larry the Cable Guy fan either.
I'm deciding whether to see this or skip it.
:coy:
Yeah, I must admit this is the first time a scaled down show is BETTER than the original. Plus isn't the bee like an onstage puppet or something now? It's great SSL is getting back to its roots with this one, not using a tv screen for everything. I swear I wish they would've used the original...
SpinneyBird pretty much said everything I was. So raises the question- If not Matt, who else was inside Big Bird?:wisdom::wisdom:
Otherwise, still a pretty good performance.:super:
It looks really good. And best part is there's no Lumpy or whatsherfacefromthekiddycgishowthingy. Just the classic Pooh characters. And finally another Pooh-based movie (although Tigger is my favorite and I LOVED the Tigger Movie:D). But really looking forward to this.
Just hope it fairs well...
Just found out Abby's performer also play's Roxie Marie in this show. Now THAT's odd, considering Abby is very popular these days, lol. I was kind of hoping the theater show would have gone like this:
Samantha
Big Bird
Elmo
Abby
Ernie
Bert
Cookie Monster/ The Count
Baby Bear
Roxie
Rosita/...
Didn't see the EGT thread, but here's the downsized version of the show:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKXpioDuxXE
The only characters missing I see are Baby Bear, Cookie Monster and orange Honker. Are they still in the show? Also, like how they kinda changed the garden set a tad bit...and the...
It looks nice. So Rosita took Baby Bear's spot huh? And Abby is in Rositas place...btw did you catch what Abby's superhero name was? I couldn't hear it that well.
Besides what's already been discussed, and minus that horrific block format and Elmo's usual over dominance, this season looks very good. I'm loving the parodies (especially A-Team) and the street stories look decent as well. I just have one minor complaint: can someone PLEASE tell Joey...
This story is all in the news. Couldn't it very well have been a publicity stunt from the get-go? Seriously, SW KNEW what they were doing when Ms. Perry put on that outfit. They knew they would get some public backlash.
If it sounds like I'm defending those who got the song banned, I'm not...
