We've lost another tv icon. Sherman Hemsley, best known for his role as George Jefferson on "The Jeffersons", has died. :sympathy:

I agree. Grover's FINALLY getting his due again. I'd say it's time for more characters in puppet form in general, and enough of these animated/CGI gimmicks. More Ernie & Bert, Cookie Monster, Oscar and Big Bird. No one can not deny that the latter 3 at least seem to have taken a back seat to the...
There's really no need for a TS4. The third one ended the series quite well. Yeah, TS shorts are cool, but another film is really just pu$hing it.
Looking forward to Monsters University, and I'm REALLY excited for the untitled Dia De Los Muertos film, considering I am a fan of that holiday...
Eh...not really feeling this one as much.
Gotta say, I'm feeling a little older now with SW referring to the original song as "classic".
*sigh* Where does the time go? :sigh:
It didn't occur to me until now, recently watching reruns on Teenick, but All That really hit a snag in Season 5, with Kel Mitchell appearing only in a few episodes. Of course the show really sunk in Season 6 with the departure of Kel & Kenan Thompson, arguably the show's two breakout stars.
According to Muppet Wiki, it appears that Sesamstrasse is dropping one of it's longest running characters Samson, and from the looks of it, Rumpel as well. I just have to say I find that so odd, dropping a character that's been with the show since it's inception (rather, 2nd era). Still, that's...
As far as the Muppets, my memory is quite sketchy as to when I was FIRST exposed to them. I remember seeing those commercials for "The Best of the Muppet Show" VHS releases. My first time seeing a Muppet production was watching "The Muppets Take Mahattan" on DVD which my dad had brought for me...
So I wasn't having the best day right now, but watching this video put a big smile on my face! I've never laughed so hard. LOVE Cookie Monster in this! :insatiable::insatiable::insatiable:
Really? I found that part quite halarious myself. :wisdom:
I have to admit, I loved EIG myself. It was my generation's "FTB", sorta speak. All that songs were great (loved Vanessa Williams' song and Huxley's song was BOSS). The only downside, as others have mentioned, was that SS should have...
Super Grover loses his "superness", and the Fabulous Five - a new team of heroes - is formed by Elmo, Telly, Rosita (Abby Caddaby in the recent remake), Zoe and her pet rock Rocco, who fill in for Grover while he's gone. It tied into the SW's "Healthy Habits For Life" campaign. Such acts...
Too. Many. Ads. Period.
Not sure if it's just me, but recently I've had trouble viewing almost EVERY video I wanted to watch. And it's always due to those useless ads on the sides of the screen popping up out of nowhere, causing glitches in the videos.
My best impressions are of Elmo and Big Bird. Aside from those, I'm good at Cookie Monster (closer to David Rudmans), Grundgetta, Grover (a little bit), Prairie Dawn, Gonzo, Uncle Deadly, Beaker, Swedish Chef, Link Hearthrob singing, a little bit of Fozzie (closer to Eric's)and, just recently...
Funny, Eric has Muppet duties yet we still see a TON of Grover and a nice amount of Bert on SS. How does that guy do it? Lol.
I too wish they'd show more B&E. And not just in claymation.
