Without giving a name, I saw someone on Facebook who made a really cool Little Chrissy puppet! It makes me wish we had Anything Muppets commercially like the whatnots.
Truth is I think both of them fall under “never idolize your heroes”..... cause unfortunately, they can always change for better or worse, and Miley and Ariana pretty much went into the latter direction.
As someone who’s learning-disabled himself I find the character to be quite hilarious! I understand why people may not like the character, but I mean, that’s pretty much the point of the Jeffy series: black comedy.

I mean, here’s the truth, public icons aren’t the characters they play in show biz. Plus, she was out of her teenage years and becoming an adult. It’s a case of holding too many high expectations just because they may have been in kid-friendly shows.
I actually wanted to include “Wet Paint” as a bonus since Uncle Wally technically kind of leads into the segment as an introduction, but then I thought it’d just kind of get in the way so I left it out.
Anyway, Uncle Wally recalls his sailor days:
Soooo...... apparently Big Jeffy of the Monotones’ name all this time was actually..... Big Jeffie.
I guess that explains why his name was spelt that way on sesamestreet.org
I have no issues with businesses being open during this pandemic (minus schools as I worry about the kid’s safety, but I understand why they’re open even if I disagree with why), my issue with cons being open meanwhile is the fact that they get very, very crowded that it really is very difficult...
The thing is Roosevelt was performed by a black actor.... who put his heart and soul into the character. The fact that even his own actor’s race couldn’t save him from being a negative stereotype shows just how well the show saw the character.
Yeah, I have to admit, while I have no issues with these new characters, I am a little bugged that they’re treating them like they’re the FIRST African-American muppet characters on the show, when that isn’t the case at all as we’ve had Kingston and numerous other Brown muppet characters...
