Hahaha! Yeah, I fully agree, let's not go there. The Chipettes could totally be a modern pop/rock band, maybe something close to Avril Lavigne? Not far off for the characters but a style that kids would be familiar with. Let's avoid the whole r&b rap thing.

Personally, as long as we don't hear that the project has been scrapped, I think no news is good news. I'm hoping that it means that they are taking to time to make sure that they do it right, and make a film that they can be proud of and that all the nostalgic fans will enjoy.
