WHAT? That is the craziest thing I have ever heard!
I wonder who will play Jim? And I wonder if they have talked to his family to see what they think. I say this only because of this line: "Empire is planning to hire a major "well-known" director for the project and hopes to attract a notable...
I'm sure everyone will love them, Jamie, no need to worry about that!
I'm just worried how they're all gonna fit in the little smiley side bar; we have so many awesome ones already that we're running out of room! ;)
Hey Phil, just a small song name nitpick.
The song "Chan Son D'amour" from the Muppet Show just played, but the proper spelling should be "Chanson D'amour" so that it properly translates as "song of love" or "love song".
Just thought you would like to know! :sing:
Oy, good lists both of you. I don't know where to start!
1. Rizzo
2. Floyd
3. Wembley
4. Gobo
5. Gonzo
6. Robin
7. Fozzie
8. Big Bird
9. Rowlf
10. Scooter
I've left out so many! Like Grover, Cantus, Pepe, Clifford... Argh, what torture. But fun. :)
This list is subject to change. Tomorrow I...
Don't worry about picking older shows, Beth. Alot of Canadian kids shows were in reruns for YEARS, ie decades, so even though I'm younger I've probably seen quite a few of the same ones as you.
My mum was nice enough to inform me the other day that this was apparantly my favourite show at one...
Awesome thread, Beau!
STORY OF MY LIFE. Every other time I bring up the muppets, someone has to mention this. And I, as calmly as possible, explain that they have TWO separate beds, with the letters of their first name on the headboard, and that those beds have never been pushed together...
Welcome sarafreill! Great to have another Canuck here who will know of all the random stuff I blabber on about. :)
Although I know of it, I don't remember Blizzard Island personally. But you will be please to know that Terry Angus who worked on that show posts here on Muppet Central pretty...
Hey, no worries here, Baby Gonzo! :D
Anyone remember this? Really clever mid 90's cartoon, for your big fat information! ;) http://youtube.com/watch?v=XCTBHLI4IhY
Edit: Alex, that didn't happen to my computer! The link Snowthy gave you is from Retrojunk.com, which is slow to load but I haven't...
Baby Gonzo, I love you!
Both Under the Umbrella Tree and The Elephant Show are Canadian. Someone who shares my memories!
I actually saw Sharon Lois and Bram at a live show when I was a kid, it was great.
Edit: Wait, nightmares? no Way! I still know all the actions to that song.
Wow, that was quick! Great links. I have to say though, I did not like Johnny Bravo at all! I was obsessed with Dexter's Lab though. Mandark? Awesome.
Edit: Actually Snowth, same boat as Alex when it comes to Johnny Bravo!
I don't know. Greedy tv money people. :p
I didn't know it was Little Richard who sang the theme song! But now that you mention it, it totally makes sense :o
Okay, we should move along to another show, just to keep the thread form dying ><
