Just an instinct but I have a feeling the other was Fraggle Rock, based on his interviews on the season 2 box set. He seemed to really be into that show. :coy: :excited: :smirk:
Try every muppet movie ever made. Even worse, in one of the fullscreen versions of TMM, they took off the widescreen black matting, which ended up displaying things that were NEVER MEANT to be seen, like puppeteers heads and arms!
Oh, that's why it's wrong then. It doesn't work that way. You...
*headdesk* Mash was originally filmed for TELEVISION, that's why that one is different. They use a different sized film.
I have the Finding Nemo 2-disc dvd and I have watched both versions. I am not trying to be mean but you are wrong.
For someone who wants to make their own television show, I...
You have it completely backwards! The bars don't cover anything. In the theatres movies are rectangular, but tvs are square. Fullscreen zooms in, losing the sides and forcing the picture to be square. Widescreen adds extra blank black space at the top (that doesn't cover ANYTHING) to make sure...
Snowthers, I think you're still not quite getting it. The black bars look like they're taking room up at the top, but by doing that, we're saving ACTUAL FOOTAGE from being lost/removed at the sides, which is what fullscreen movies do. I wouldn't watch a fullscreen movie if you paid me, because...
Yes, and I think it would be better discussed in a positive, non-threatening manner in the religion thread.
Alot of people's posts have made me uneasy lately, but I'm not talking about religion. Mostly I have noticed very negative and off-topic posts that are way too personal or irrelevant to...
Dwayne, there's already a huge religion thread, don't make another. Everyone, stop bickering about religion and go back to middle school. This thread isn't the place to debate theology.
Absolutely agreed. Heralde, I'm not sure if you were around during the time when season 1 came out, but everyone was so disappointed when we discovered there were cuts made to the set. I have never been all-faithful; I think that a healthy dose of skepticism is good when it comes to Disney's run...
Oh my gosh, he is FABULOUS! As a Stephen lover :flirt: (I am actually wearing a Stewart/Colbert '08 shirt as I type this!) I am just so impressed. The likeness is phenomenal. I can't wait to see you bring him to life.
Yeah I agree with you Jamie, the REAL intros are so dry and awful.
I sort of had a hunch it might have been someone from ToughPigs who made the video because it wasn't anyone from here, and honestly, who else would care that much?
I still think this is brilliant. When I found the video I...
Yeah, there are times where I wish I was a guy in order to sing a certain song the way that the original artist does! So it works both ways. ;)
Hmm... these are modern musicals, but I would love playing Glinda from Wicked (I've been told I do a pretty solid version of Popular), also the...
Oops, I feel bad because I guess Jim gets alot of questions like the one I asked! :o Sorry. I do appreciate your patience in answering it one more time.
