I've always loved Fraggle Rock as a kid and I still do today. I never got a chance to say this at 25 years, but thank you to all the people that worked on the show for bringing this show to the world.
I love Ernie and Bert's laughs, each laugh is unique as they are. I also like Pepe's laugh, Rizzo's, Floyd's, Fozzie's, Telly's, The Count's, the Two-headed monster's and Boober's laugh. Wembley's laugh is one of my favorites because it's so loud and raucous like mine can be sometimes.
I loved every part of this! I'm looking forward to the next one. I think it'll be interesting to see what the Fraggles will do for next year. :excited:
Like everybody else, I have plenty of Richard Hunt favorites:
The Muppet Show: Scooter, Janice, Beaker and Statler
Sesame Street: Forgetful Jones, Don Music, Leo the Party Monster, Richard's head on the Two-headed Monster and The Beetles' lead singer
Fraggle Rock: Junior Gorg and Gunge
Other...
There's a lot of songs that are symonymous with Sesame Street:
Ernie-Rubber Duckie-no question
Big Bird-ABC-DEFGHI
Bert-Doin' the Pigeon
Kermit-Bein' Green- what else?
Count-Song of the Count or Batty Bat
Don Music-Mary had a Bicycle
Elmo-Elmo's song
Cookie Monster-C is for...
That's sad. I didn't even know she had cancer. What a sad day for everyone who's worked with her and loved her, especially on Sesame Street. I'll miss her voice and her role as Olivia on Sesame Street.
RIP Alaina, we'll miss you.
I think all the Muppeteers are absolutely wonderful, but if I had to put them in a top 10 list:
1. Jim Henson
2. Frank Oz
3. Jerry Nelson
4. Richard Hunt
5. Dave Goelz
6. Steve Whitmire
7. Caroll Spinney
8. Kevin Clash
9. Fran Brill
10. Louise Gold
I would also like to make honorable mentions...
My favorite Jerry Nelson characters are Robin, Gobo, the left head of the Two-headed monster, Marjory the trash heap, Floyd, Count von Count and Emmet Otter.
I forgot to mention that I also like the Fraggle Rock episode "The Bells of Fraggle Rock". It's almost like "A Charlie Brown Christmas" when one of the main characters is struggling to find out what the holiday season's really about. In the end, Gobo learns that ringing all the bells keeps the...
Now that you mention it, I do love the Muppet Christmas music, the majority of them show the true spirit of Christmas and what it's all about.
Keep Christmas with you- Christmas Eve on Sesame Street's version
It feels like Christmas- Muppet Christmas Carol
Bless us all- Muppet Christmas Carol...
I have several favorites in terms of Muppet Christmas specials.
I like "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street" because of the story lines within it, Bert and Ernie's version of "Gift of the Magi" and Big Bird finding out how Santa gets down the chimneys of New York and everyone looking for him near the...
