Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I have to say that my favorite background characters are Beauregard, Lubbock Lou and his Jug Huggers and all the animals on the show: penguins, rabbits, rats, dogs...anything along those lines.
I think the first episode of Fraggle Rock I ever saw was "Beginnings" and the second episode I saw was "A Friend in Need". The reason is that at the library I used to go to when I was little in Florida, there was a Fraggle Rock video that had those episodes and I borrowed it and fell in love...

I've seen that show! When I watched it at first, It was hard to tell whether or not it was real, but now that I look at it, everything looks doctored, but I wonder if people were sitting on the edge of their seats watching the show.
The Trash Heap appeared a lot in the first season, but in the following seasons, the appearances became less and less, at least she was in the last episode of the series. Still, I wish she would have made more appearances in more episodes in the later seasons. In season 2, she only showed up in...
I think she's talking about the Beach Boys' version of "Kokomo", that was made in the 80s. I'm pretty sure that the Muppets' version was made around 1993.

That's what I was thinking. The series went on, the characters have definitely matured more and more. It's especially noticable with Wembley. In the first season, he was pretty quiet, but in later seasons, he really blossomed as a character and got really, really silly, which is what I love...
On an episode of The Simpsons yesterday, Flanders came to Homer and said something like "I hate to be a Fozzie of a bear here". I don't remember what he said exactly.
I loved this chapter! It's one of my favorite "old school" party songs! Sorry, there was no other way to put it. I really want to hear that version of the song now. I can imagine everyone having a good time, except for Robin who didn't get much of a chance. Poor Robin. While on the subject, can...
On that note with Marco, what happened to Curly Bear? I haven't seen her in any of the latest episodes. I like Baby Bear, especially in the episode where Abby's freckles fly off and he says, "Why is everyone so obsessed with my underpants?" emphasis on the pants! How he said that cracked me up...
As with everyone else, I would like a completely unedited version of Emmet Otter's Jug-band Christmas as well as Muppet Family Christmas. I wonder if the company will release The Tale of the Bunny Picnic because since Bean is part of the Muppet gang which is part of Disney, it would be nice if...
I do love that Mexican restaurant sketch! Grover keeps going "Ole, ole, ole!" until he stomps on the food each time until the "Numero Uno" when the guitar player left on his break.
I also love when the new waiter Pino, played by Dave Goelz, tries to be a waiter also and then it becomes a...
I've actually found some people at college who remember the Muppets and some of the Muppet shows and movies, which is surprising to me. I think Muppet fans either don't want to admit they're Muppet fans because of what some people would think of them or they just express their fandom no matter...
Actually, it was a for a song that the Muppets from Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street and The Muppet Show put together for Jim when he was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame.
Here's the story:

Here's something that's been bugging me for quite some time. Who's better at providing entertainment to viewers, The Muppets, animated Disney Characters or even live action material like say, Mickey's Fun Songs and the like or another show called Kidsongs with Billy and Ruby Biggle.
I like all...
That song you're thinking about is "Pig Calypso" from the Bob Hope episode of season 2 of The Muppet Show. It was the opening number for that episode. :)
