Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Gobo said that. It's from "The Day the Music Died", the firefly-like creatures called Ditzies, who are the main light source in Fraggle Rock, their light is going away making The Rock darker and causing all the Fraggles to fall asleep. In the end, Gobo realized their music makes the Ditzies...
I mean besides Bean, there were two other characters from "Bunny Picnic" in the sketch. Who were they? Here's a hint: They are members of Bean's family.
I think your book will be the absolute last Muppet related book I'll have to buy for myself. It sounds like there's so much in there! I can't wait until it comes out!
I meant you can only see the characters from the waist up, not waist down.:o
Okay, which characters from "The Tale of the Bunny Picnic" were recycled for the "Space Guy" segment from The Jim Henson Hour?
If you're asking how often we see the legs, the viewing audience doesn't see them often unless they're sitting on top of something or given the illusion of standing up on screen. We usually see them only from the waist down.
I found a video featuring Jeff Dunham from the late 80s to early 90s with an early version of Peanut and about halfway into his act, Peanut does several Muppet impersonations. See for yourself:

Thank you, Steve for bringing The Muppetcast to the internet and the world. Maybe another podcast about the Muppets will come along sooner or later, but it'll never be the same as the Muppetcast. I think it was the best podcast ever! (Although others may disagree)
I always looked forward to...
The only reason I get depressed is because I'm away from my family during college for a fairly long time and I miss them or I'm struggling in a class and worrying if I'll pass it. My anxiety issues started during my sophomore year of college, probably triggered by me failing two classes during...
I don't see why anybody can hate Scooter. He's a fantastic character for the show. He's a great assistant to Kermit as well as others to help control the craziness that occurs a lot of times. Not only that, he's a wonderful performer for the production numbers during the show. What I like about...
My Fair Lady:
Eliza Doolittle- Miss Piggy
Henry Higgins- Don Music
Alfred Doolittle- Link Hogthrob
Colonel Pickering- Sherlock Hemlock
Freddy Eynsford-Hill- Kermit the Frog
Mrs. Higgins- Hilda
Mrs. Pearce- Mildred
Mrs. Eynsford-Hill- Mrs. Appleby (Leader of the Frog Scouts)
Zoltan Karpathy- Dr...
It does sound like Matt Vogel is finally Robin's voice and personality down, but it's not the same as Jerry voicing him. Either way, I loved the performance with Jimmy, Kermit and Robin and I love the song. It's clear that Jimmy loves performing with the Muppets.
I love this special. One of the few times we see Muppets from The Muppet Show, Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock and even Muppet Babies be together for the holidays like this. I always love the part where Kermit and Robin meet the Fraggle Five for the first time and Jim's cameo at the end...
I like The Muppet Christmas Carol a lot as well as the first three films that were released because Jim was involved in all three. However, if I had to choose between them, my favorite would be The Muppet Movie. I love it because it's about how the Muppets made their dream come true and make it...
Here are my favorite Muppet Christmas productions of all time:
1. Emmet Otter's Jug-band Christmas
2. Fraggle Rock- The Bells of Fraggle Rock
3. A Muppet Family Christmas
4. A Muppet Christmas Carol
5. Christmas Eve on Sesame Street
6. John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together
7. The...
My favorite part of the holidays is going home to my family and spending Christmas time with them, listening to great Christmas music and watching most of the great Christmas specials that play during this time of year and watching some Muppet Christmas specials and movies on DVD and YouTube.
I loved this story and it's nice that Scooter gets married here. I loved all the parts of the angels of Richard and the other Henson people coming down to earth to witness the wedding and everything else. Having an angel of John Denver is an excellent touch and the epilogue was a nice way to cap...
