Hey Matt,
I take it you've never seen the Johnny Carson skit where he made fun of Fred Rogers and Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. It's a classic skit, and absolutly ludicrous and funny. I took a lot of barbs at Mr. Rogers, and Fred Rogers actually saw it and thought it was funny. It's perfectly...
Well, technically this is true (it just isn't a televised game show, but it had sound effects and a nifty game board), and it also involved the Muppets, here's the story.
Went to lunch today in the Union (I work on the campus of the University of Mississippi). This is the first week of...
Oh wow, I'm pretty pepped up on this one. How many shows Broadway shows does this make for the creature shop? Didn't they do stuff for Carnival and Dr. Doolittle (in England)?
Happy Birthday Kevin (when is Muley's Birthday?)
Happy Birthday Buck Beaver and Jeff as well.
And just where has Kevin been lately? He's been MIA for awhile.

Seen Elvis in a Supermarket
Dated Lance Bass (of N'Sync)
Seen UFOs
Know that Walt Disney is buried under Disneyland in a cryogenically frozen chamber
etc, etc...
I really think the whole deal with the puppets was that they weren't supposed to be quality puppets or puppeteers. It played into the whole context of the show, which was poking fun and lampooning the very shows so many of us are fond of. i.e. Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, Captain Kangaroo...
I know that the guy dying while trying to get the head is even on the Doombuggies web site (the best on the subject)
Doombuggies
They talk about "Disney Urban Legends", yet they never say if this is true or not. But it is indeed one of those tall tales. Remember, just because you see...
Since I was here, and to save Ken time I'll answer the one part of the question I know.
Sweetums will most likely come with the Theater Playset. Robin will most likely come with him as well.
As for the Dr. Teeth question. I'm not sure.
I have a couple:
You can see the puppeteers in Statler and Waldorf's box in the episode where Gonzo crashes his motorcycle into it.
You can also see the top of Dave's Head in the Gonzo Moment Muppet Moments
Nah, its not that hard or time consuming at all, you just have to know how to do it. THe tighter you crame them in, the harder it gets to pull one out. It's simple. You can do the same thing with stuffed animals when you move. To keep them from getting out of shape, clothes wrinkling etc...
