An absolute MUST for Doors fan is the excellent The Doors Collection, a DVD that contains everything you ever wanted to know about the group and more. It's absolutely invaluable.
To start things off, there's a nice video "Welcome" intro from Ray Manzarek, John Densmore and Robby Krieger, who...
Oh yeah, one other thing about the Stone film that is totally inaccurate:
In the UCLA scene, the students boo Morrison's "film," and he quits the school.
In actuality, Morrison made two student films AND received an undergraduate degree in Cinematography at UCLA film school. He never quit.
Here are a few cool Morrison quotes:

I like you, man. And I enjoy reading your posts. Heck, I wouldn't even know who Kathy Greenwood was if it wasn't for you! You've inspired me to check out some of her stuff.
I got Tweety.
You are cute, and everyone loves you. You are a best friend that no one takes the chance of losing. You never hurt feelings and seldom have your own feelings hurt. Life is a breeze. You are witty, and calm most of the time. Just keep clear of backstabbers, and you are...
The late great Peter Cook would certainly have been welcome on TMS.
Cook was a groundbreaking British comedian, who, in the early 1960s, helped write and perform the successful stage revue Beyond the Fringe, along with Jonathan Miller, Alan Bennett, and Peter's soon-to-be partner in comedy...
I've seen all the Bond movies several times, and have read all the books. It may seem a bit too early, but I do consider Daniel Craig as the best cinematic Bond to date. He's also very good in Layer Cake, which I believe was the movie that convinced the Bond producers to give him a go.
