    Animal: Monster or... what?

When I first saw Clifford on The Jim Henson Hour, I immediately thought of him as a human Muppet.

    Animal: Monster or... what?

It did cheapen Gonzo, like, okay he's weird-looking, so lets make him an alien.

    Animal: Monster or... what?

Not to get off subject, but I never considered Gonzo an alien, despite what MFS tells us. Back on subject...(Leach *just* manages to hop on the bus before it pulls away) Yeah, as I said before, I think Animal is Animal. It may not be much of an answer, but hey, neither is "a blade of grass"...

I was actually referring to the t-shirt ep. in the first half of my post (400th episode, Keifer Sutherland). Sorry for the confusion!:)

Most disappointing episode of The Muppet Show

You've never seen Silent Movie? Get thee to a video store! It's a 1976 comedy full of great sight gags and slapstick. Mel plays a washed-up film director trying to make a comeback, and Marty and Dom play his two accomplices. The director has a plan: make a contemporary silent movie, and...

Most disappointing episode of The Muppet Show

Agreed. Feldman was a great talent, and while his episode was entertaining, I don't think his full abilities were used. Like Steve Martin and Dudley Moore, he never really got a chance to showcase what made him a popular TV and film writer/star. Although I did like the bit with him swigging...

Most disappointing episode of The Muppet Show

Yeah, Steve's act in the late 70s (arrow in the head, "happy feet," wacky antics, etc.) would have been perfect on TMS had he been given more of an opportunity to utilize it. But at least he got to show off his banjo prowess, his juggling and his balloon animals. I liked Steve's episode, but...

Yeah, I guess that's what I was trying to say in my post. I never thought about it one way or another. He's just Animal.

    Animal: Monster or... what?

I never thought of Animal as a monster. I always considered him...well...an animal. I don't know what kind of animal...maybe an escapee from the Island of Dr. Moreau, but an animal all the same. Floyd seems to be his main handler, and often keeps him on a leash. He tells Animal to "sit" and...

    Sesame Street TV References

Fox aired the 400th episode of The Simpsons at 8 PM. It supposedly is a parody of 24 (I haven't watched it yet); Kiefer Sutherland was a guest voice. The 8:30 ep. was a repeat, the one you mentioned about the ice cream truck. The episode I referred to earlier about the PBS pledge drive is an...
