Another sign of changing times: as soon as you walk into the building, you are confronted by a secretary in a booth who asks you who you are and what your business is. You are then given a pass.
This is the only entrance to the school.

About two years after I graduated from high school, one of the walls in the history wing collapsed. Thankfully, it was during summer vacation, so there were no students or faculty.
Apparently the wall that collapsed was a "temporary" wall...which was put up in 1970! I guess the construction...

I saw MTM in its original run.
The Muppet Movie was the first-ever film I saw in a theatre.
For some reason, I didn't see The Great Muppet Caper until it premiered on HBO.
But I tell ya: there's nothing like seeing the Muppets on a big screen!:)
From The Screaming Skull:
Crow: Yep, when you think of shocking horror, you think German oompah band music!

Tom (after a character throws a skull): Alas poor Yorick, she threw him well.

Eric (character in movie): Now in the...
From the Gumby short, Robot Rumpus:
Tom: The nice thing about Gumby is that you can use him as window caulk.

Crow: Bad move, Gumby. Robots do not fight clean. You know that, Mike.
Mike: Oh yeah.

Family Guy did a funny parody of Back to the Future last night, in which Peter goes back to the 80s and tries to get Lois to fall in love with him instead of Quagmire. There was also a cameo from Roger the alien of American Dad.

Waiter: Looks like the back-stroke, sir.
Customer: Yeah, but this is a five-star restaurant. He could at least be wearing a pair of swimming trunks!
