Although "new Jan" is :flirt:
I'm a big fan of Lidsville, starring Butch Patrick (The Munsters) and the great Charles Nelson Reilly as Horatio J. Hoodoo. Also loved H.R. Pufnstuf.
One of my favorite Sid & Marty productions was D.C. Follies, which aired in syndication between 1987 and 1989. It was set in a Washington D.C...
I would say records were phased out from regular department stores...probably around 1988/89. I can remember certain stores selling vinyl, cd, and cassettes.
I owned the second Muppet Show LP, but unfortunately I wore it out!
I can remember one time, when I was a little pipsqueak in the...
I still own videotapes. Last summer, music stores such as Strawberries and Coconuts were selling their entire stock of VHS for $2.99 each. So I picked up several titles that aren't on DVD yet.
I use my VCR regularly. Don't have Tivo.
And I have a large vinyl collection. Some of them I...
I love the Wilkins Coffee ads. The humor of the Muppets in 10-15 seconds of airtime.
The fates that befell poor Wontkins (being shot, stabbed, blown up, etc.) were classic!
Yep, I sure remember Fraggle Rock comic books. The local 7-11 sold 'em. I remember purchasing Wembley and the Mean Genie (one of my favorite episodes) first, then collecting a few more of 'em. They seemed to be very popular as I recall, 'cause the store was often out of stock.

Maybe if the film had been a hit, Disney would have made more sequels...
But a big complaint at the time was the movie was too...
Leonard Nimoy actually kept pretty busy on the stage over the years. Here's a partial list of the shows he appeared in:

The King & I - King of Siam
My Fair Lady - Henry Higgins
I Remember Mama
Peer Gynt
Dr. Faustus
Stalag 17

Funny!:D
Check this out for more Nimoy goodness...
It's a montage of vintage Star Trek clips set to Leonard singing "Once I Smiled," immediately followed by William Shatner's infamous, passionate and dramatic take on "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds."
