Glad y'all liked the article...it was a wonderful experience for both of us.
Thanks to Phil and Jamie for cleaning it up posting it. Wish you could have all been there with me.
Who am I kidding? I'm glad *I* was there!

(nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn)
Now not only can I not wait to get series 2, but now I have something else to not be able to wait for--February when we see all the Muppety Goodness in the pipeline!

It looks like a pretty solid (if tentative) lineup to me; but like Luke, I'm reaaaaally wary of the Muppets Tonight characters. That said, I think the four included so far (Pepe, Clifford, Jonny and Sal) are the best characters and the ones most likely to be purchased by fans. And I don't...
I don't think the Church would be the mess that some people are thinking it would be...it wasn't that controversial in the flick. BUT, I don't think it would be nearly as strong a playset as the Bus or about a dozen others that should come before it.
Unless it came with the Magic-Change...
UGH!
WHY oh WHY????
Wow, with Rowlf and Beaker and Chef even. that's an impressive lineup for McDonalds...wish they were here. Or I wish I were there. I wish a lot of things.

I'm getting Wendel, but just because I decided about a year ago to just buy the Springfield Children...there were too many other characters that I didn't care about for me to "collect them all," and since I'm going to be doing the school teacher thing anyway, the kids are for me the best...
Hey Luke,
I just wanted to congratulate you on you 2000 posts--and they're not all "yeah!" either....you usually have something to say. Usually rocking the boat. Nothin but love, Luke, nothin but love.

Ken,
I've got a question about the EM Stage Playset and the EM Bus Playset: is Animal's Drum Set removable from the stage? From what I've heard it's not. With that, is the plan with the Bus still to have a small stage with it/attached to it/unfolding from it? I know that was being batted...
That THING around Kermit's neck is obviously....um....a COLLAR! Like...um....ALL frogs have.....
And Rowlf's tail...I think there was some sort of piano bench accident...
Piggy's hooves.....

Saw it twice last night--it was on CBS during Everyone Loves Raymond and then later on...
Very nice commercial--more subtle than you'd think. No real lines other than "DRIVE FAST! DRIVE FAST!!" If you weren't watching it, you may just think it's another Mastercard commercial. Saw Kermit...
Stryder,
I was just looking at the Starscream and Red Alert TFs at TRU yesterday, and thought they were cool, and then noticed that the little....(minibots?) they came with were like a crane and a big truck of some kind....which both SHOULD have been much bigger than either Red Alert (an SUV)...
Hey Ken (and Dr_Bunsen),
Something I didn't quite grasp until seeing the puppets in person a few weeks ago is how small some of the puppets (and hence characters) really are! Kermit, Gonzo, and some of the small ones have heads that are only the size of a man's hand, and then their bodies...
I like Futurama.
I miss Futurama.
I resent FOX for the way it doesn't give shows a chance to grow.
It makes me worry about a New Muppet Show on FOX.
The End.

BAM! OUCH, Matt!!!
She's been on the street for 33 years man, cut her some slack! LOL!!
Seriously, the originals are all about 3 decades older than they used to be, and much as I love her, Gina isn't aging so well either. Maybe we should start another thread: who's aging the most...
An interesting thread...
My favorite Muppet Movie is The Great Muppet Caper.
