    Reused Street Segments

You would be surprised how many of these there were in the 80s. There was one from Season 17 where Snuffy brought his "portable" TV to Big Bird's nest, and Snuffy, Big Bird, and the kids all did the Jane Snuffle-upagus workout. Apparently, it was part of a street story with Big Bird spending...

2 different Alphabet Chat L versions

You know, it's very interesting you mention this. The second one must have been done later. Because on the early Alphabet Chat sketches, lots of really crazy things happened, and some of them were even violent, like in the R version, where the guys dropped a radiator on his foot. Apparently...

Old Sesame song tugging at my memory

Actually, it's from the early 80s. 1983, to be exact. The song is called "Brothers Song (English/Spanish)". And it was written by Phillip Namanworth and Benjamin Goldstein. I loved that song, too. In fact, I cry whenever I hear it now, because it reminds me of the good old days of Sesame Street.

Sesame Workshop to develop new channel with Comcast, HIT

Maybe they won't add anymore episodes, but it would be sort of nice to see all the "Unpaved" episodes again. And what about Season 25? Do you think it would have that as well? And also, I'm not sure if it would have "The Electric Company", "321 Contact", or any of those. From what I...

Sesame Workshop to develop new channel with Comcast, HIT

Actually, I just read it, and it doesn't look that lengthy to me. :smirk: And something tells me, I am not so sure if it will have Classic SS. :(

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 35

I actually like that song. Somehow, I think the title is either "Walk Down Emmanuel Road" or "Fe Go Break Rock Stone." I think it's supposed to sound like a very old Jamaican Folk Song. It may very well not be originally from Sesame Street. But it is very nice. It is like one of the very few new...

Sesame Workshop to develop new channel with Comcast, HIT

So, I get the impression that this new channel is 24 hours of preschool programming. And also, keep in mind that that PBS Kids channel has NO SS AT ALL!!! I wonder why!! So, somehow, I'm not so sure that this will have old programming like Sesame Street Unpaved. :(

Sesame Workshop to develop new channel with Comcast, HIT

Well, that is true. But there are certain digital channels, like G4, that are ONLY available on Comcast. And also, not even every Comcast system will carry it. But you are right. Because as you may know, many areas now have more than one cable provider. My area does. I mean, I hope my area gets...

Sesame Workshop to develop new channel with Comcast, HIT

Okay, I just have to say that this is like the best news I have ever heard this year, and I hope that it comes true. And also, I hope they have a lot more episodes than Unpaved. :)

Complete list of the Season 35 Ernie sketches

Okay, many of them were not Bert & Ernie, but here are the ones that were used: "All About Air" "Bert teaches pigeon to play checkers" "Snowman" Song "In My Book" Those are the ones that come to my mind at the moment.

    Sesame Too on Noggin

They just cut out whatever was the right time length. They also do this on PBS during pledge week. I was never very happy with this, because it seems that they would always edit out the best segments!

No, they're not new. They're the exact same ones that were on before.

    How many episodes per season?

Season 31 had 65 shows. Season 32 did have 65 shows, but not really. I think like 15 of them were repeats from Season 30.

    Hey, look what I found!

I was surfing the internet, and I found something that I thought was very interesting. It's a high school girl interviewing Kevin Clash about his career that aired on a cable network called VTV. Here it is: http://www.myvtv.com/video/chooseSpeed.asp?id=20200&catid=88 Check it out, and tell...
