Wanted to share a different perspective on the maniacal laugh bit. I was talking to my sister, whom isn't necessarily a big Muppet fan, but she's related to me and so she gets it and is supportive of our obsession. Anyway she went with her two teenage sons, sister-in-law and her 5 year neice and...
Thanks for posting! I wonder how much that Kermit knit hat is... that's the same one they're offering on Disney Rewards and was debating it. Spencer's taste level frightens me a little so I have to go when I'm not toting the little ones with me.
Super cute! Good job! Seems to be missing a certain pig though. J/K!
Oh I just looked at it a second time and realized the knobs are their noses - love it!
What a neat exhibit. Wish we were closer to visit in person. Would love to hear what kind of response you get when it opens. Will all the prints be available for viewing online after Dec 10th? And are any Muppet Central members showing art there? Let us know if you are!
Went back to Wal-Mart... you guessed it, we were out of wipes this time. LOL Anyway, I have to make a correction it wasn't an Electric Mayhem cup but a "Muppet Mayhem" cup. It did have Dr. Teeth on it so maybe that's why I generalized, but upon closer look it also had Pepe, Sam, and several...
Neat! Thanks for posting. Maybe this Muppet mania is the push that's needed to get those released to DVD. I know a lot of fans have been waiting for those.
I believe this picture came from a box of Christmas cards produced by Hallmark. Can't remember what year but it had to be early 80's or late 70's because that's an early Piggy there. They were small cards though, like the size of thank you notes.
Have to say, I wasn't much of a Jason Segel fan (don't watch much mainstream TV these days so I just really only knew of him before the film) but he is rapidly becoming one of my favorite people. Every interview he's done he always make a point to say just how big of a Muppet fan he is and he...
LOL! I didn't remember it when you mentioned it, but I do recognize that photo. So I must have heard about it at one time. Darn my failing memory. :sigh:
Oh my goodness!!! I am dying here! Miss Piggy's portrait?! I would love to have that in my home. Seriously. And all those outfits! And all those Muppety extras at the theater. I love it! Those were awesome pics, thanks so much for sharing!
I think there were a lot of important things said here about pirating in general so I suggest we not delete the thread. However, perhaps we can conclude by saying that out of respect to the copyright holders, the performers, and all the other professionals who worked on the movie, we will take...
I'm pretty frugal and am not beneath saving a buck or two. But I'm trying to figure out why a Muppet fan would get around paying to see a movie when we're all trying so hard to make the Muppets profitable again.
Now, muppetlover123 I don't know your situation so please don't think I'm judging...
