Did he use a block of scott foam or regular seat cushion foam, because we seem to only be able to find blocks of upholstry foam.

Where can you buy block reticulated foam for carving? My partner and I made a Gonzo replica puppet, but we used sheet foam and there is a seam under his nose and top lip. I would much rather have it carved, but we don't know where to buy block foam.

pupils I mentioned this in another thread about Gonzo, but the small felt disks that you buy in the hardware department to go under lamps and things so they don't scratch the furniture work very well as pupils. they come in a variety of sizes on a page. You just have to paint them black.

My partner and I have made a few Muppet replica puppets and what we have used very successfully for the eyes are the round felt pads they make for the bottom of lamps, furniture, and vases. They come several sizes on a page and with a little black paint you're all set.
