But the best part of 4094 was the classic animation with the girl and the sand castle!! I wasn't shocked when I saw it, because I thought maybe I was watching one of my old tapes. But then a friend saw it too, and reminded me that it WAS on current SS!!
My main era was from 1992-94. Then for 1994-95, I kinda stopped watching it, just because I felt I was too old. Then I got back into it a little bit for the 1995-96 season, but then I felt I had to stop watching it, so I could be like most kids. Even during the period where I wasn't normally...
And don't forget, after the song was over, Gina went up to them and asked them for their autograph. I wonder if it was part of a street plot originally.
I didn't like it that much. I mean, it was okay at first, but after it was on every day, I sort of got sick of it. And fortunately, for those of you with me, I think it's on its way out.
Jim Henson also played the cop, Jerry Nelson played the hip dude, Frank Oz played the lavendar muppet, and I'm not sure of the others. But there were a lot of muppets in this.
There was a skit where Ernie and Cookie were trying to tell the 2 of them apart, and a green AM comes to help them solve the problem, and Ernie says, "You're green like Kermit the Frog!" And it sounds just as if Kermit were saying his own name.
Yes, that was Fran all right. She's made a couple of cameo appearances. She was also in the 3-part episode from Season 34 with Baby Bear's little sister Curly, and she was a nurse in the hospital, I believe. She was also in a Season 25 episode where Oscar had his newsstand, and Fran was a...
Well, a lot of these young teen pop singers are redoing old Disney songs for the Disneymania series, and Hilary Duff did a version of "The Siamese Cat Song" from Lady and the Tramp with her sister, Haylie. And she does have this current hit song called "Wake Up", and it sounds like she COULD do...
Yes, that is correct. Starting August 29th, 123 Sesame Street will no longer be on Noggin. BUT, HOWEVER, they are putting another airing of Play With Me Sesame in it's timeslot at 8:30. I think this MIGHT be because of PBS Sprout launching. I hope we end up getting it on our system.
No, it's not the same one. But I do remember the sketch with that song, and, get this, it may have been the first time I ever saw Sesame Street. I first heard it when I was like 3 years old, and then never heard it again until recently, when I got an episode with it in a trade. When I saw that...
Ok, there is a song on the Monsters album called "Monster Lullaby." I've never seen it on the show, but it's sung by a monster mommy to her monster son. The baby doesn't actually sing, but there is dialogue with him at the beginning. Would that happen to be the monster now known as Elmo?
I actually have this episode, and I do not think it's 2548. In fact, I know it isn't, because it has the Barkley and the Kids closing sequence, which only ran on Friday episodes (ending with a 0 or a 5).
