Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Yeah, I meant that horrible MAD show, not the good one, sorry for the ambiguosity... it did ruin the magazine, I've read it before, it was a good magazine. I've played Spy VS Spy, and it's a great game, but modern TV people are ruining the good stuff. Robot Chicken actually made fun of Muppets...
Woah woah woah... Fred and the Annoying Orange have been promoted to a TV show?! On Nick and CN respectively?! Wow. I thought it can't get worse after iCarly, MAD, and other TV monsters. Those two channels are for kids, not teens. As I am typing this, I'm sure millions of kids' minds are being...
I'm looking for some figures, can anyone tell me where I can find them at a good price? It needs to be a trustworthy place with the site having no risk of viruses (yes, I'm that paranoid.). The only online stores I know of is Ebay and Amazon. Ebay confuses me a bit with bids and stuff, while...
I remember a few very random Muppet dreams I had.
1. I remember a dream where I helped the Muppaphones plan a conspiracy against Marvin Suggs...
2. I dreamt I had every Muppet Palisades figure, but Cookie Monster burst into my room and ate all of them.
3. I dreamt I met Jim Henson and Richard...
I'm thinking something like a Muppet adventure (a full fledged one) with something like a villain blows the theater up and scatters various muppets all over the game world and Kermit has to find all of them and reunite to fight the villain. It's a cheesy idea, but it would be fun to control the...
Thanks! But how big are the other figures gonna be? I don't have that much room in my room for a huge shelf... and I can only find one regular Marvin Suggs on Amazon and who knows how long it'll be there...:concern:
Well, I just came up with this thread for fun, but I wanted to see if there was anyone on here who could do Muppet voice impressions. As for me, I could do Beaker, Waldorf, Lew Zealand, Swedish Chef, Sam the Eagle, and I could sorta do Kermit, Rowlf, Bunsen, Marvin Suggs, Mahna Mahna and Beauregard.
So I've started my own Palisades Muppets collection, and I bought four online, Classic Sam, Crazy Harry, Bunsen, and Rizzo. But I'm faced with a few problems...
1.I took them out of the box, and as I don't have a display shelf, I keep them in a cardboard box. I'm worried about paint rub-off...
Yeah, the reason Zoot is expensive is because series 3 had the shortest series run out of them all, but Zoot is even rarer than Scooter, Tux Rowlf, Lew, and the Swedish Playset. I do wish I had Zoot, his sandy shirt looks so awesome...
