The original song does nothing for me and not one I would have picked to parody. But I am loving Sesame's enthusiasm to set the whole thing up. It was a well written and well thought out video. There's even cute choreography.
Sure this wasn't done on some fancy sound stage, but I love that...
Our Walmart FINALLY got some of the Kermit ones and they have already marked them down to $5. Unfortunately they didn't have any in the Small size so I had to pass on them. Still a great deal!
Oh and the ladies sweat pants/sleep pants were marked down to $3. They're pink and have a small image...
Funny you brought this up since the boys and I watched this last night. At the end I remember thinking, awww I wonder how Gru and the girls are doing now. Agreed it was a sweet movie (minus the potty humor and tasteless photocopy bit), but I'm not certain there's a sequel there. Maybe if Gru...
While I have to admit that teddy bear on Ted looks really, really good for CGI, however I am with the consenus on this one - Muppets are not CGI.
Obviously CGI is a great tool and one that those in the "puppet" business have embraced. Sid the Science Kid and Dinosaur Train are excellent...

Have you...

Please let it be good. Please let it be good. Please let it be really, really good.
Or maybe I should be chanting:
Please let this happen. Please let this happen. Please let this happen.
Hubert's flashback to elementary school made me think of this one...
I had a Miss Piggy Great Muppet Caper folder. It stayed at school and the teacher would put graded papers in it. At the end of the year we were told to clean out our desks and I remember my teacher forcing me to throw away...
Yay! Finally got our Muppet band-aids at WalMart! There was only Animal or Beaker so boys picked Kermit/Beaker as it only seemed right to attribute band-aids with poor accident prone Beaker.
Good thing we finally found them as our Muppet band-aid stash from the late 80's was getting low.
