No. I was at the EB in the Gateway Friday afternoon, and their skilled-and-talented employees didn't know when they would be getting it in. They're not on the shelves--I'll probably do a drive-by again on Monday or Tuesday. I work two minutes away from there, so it's not out of the way...I...
I hear ya...and I do think there should be some sort of acknowledgment of their passing--especially Jim's. I also know that he wanted has life to be celebrated after he passed on, even at his funeral; I just think the big party should be his birthday. If there were ever a "Muppet Day," that...
There are parts to this forum I've never seen! Wow!
Uh...I know this was being discussed last month, but I have a question for Jamie, Phil, or another Powerful Person.
Hopefully you'll take it in the spirit I intend it.
Why....celebrate/commemorate the date that deceased...
So far, this is BETTER than February sweeps!!!!
Oh my good gravy. This made me laugh and laugh. And that's good. I think.
"Byron is a good man..."
Jackie, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE tell me there's at least some element of fictionalizing going on here....
Just kiddin'. Byron...
Yellow Shirted Zoot IS the regular figure. Someone else will have to give you the official location of the info on that, but trust me. Red shirt is the variant.
And Skeeter...I'm working on some sketches of how that could work; since I don't have the Scooter figure myself yet, I don't...
Okay it's too late for me to edit that, so I'll quote myself and elaborate a little bit:
By the Palisades figures becoming the definitive guide, I mean that we (as fans) just don't have access to all of the drawings, sketches, scales, colors, original puppets, etc. that Palisades' team does...
1) The yellow-shirted version of Zoot is the "regular" version, the reddish color is the variant.
2) Because we've never seen an adult Skeeter, what she looks like is completely conjecture...but I'm intrigued by the possibilities. I would love to see people try to build a Skeeter figure...
I've always hated CREED, daddio--Muppet Central doesn't allow the emoticons for how I feel. When Palisades reopens I'll show you a gesture or two.
Quinnnnnnnnn
I'm impressed with the Janice...but yeah, that aqua-colored guitar? What the--?
And Fozzie...looks kinda squished. Like there wasn't a puppeteer's hand (or any armature at all) inside him. Or like something I wouild sculpt. If I sculpted.
The others look good for the most part...
It's times like this that you wonder, "how much of an *** did I come off as?" And then you really RULLY don't want to know the answer.
I won enough to get some Muppet Show DVDs...and Palisades Toys...and a few more things.
Fun fun fun fun fun funky.
Quinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

We’re on “Millionaire” Tuesday and Wednesday…

Gumby,
Just for the record, I started typing mine before you had replied, went and "worked at my job" for about half an hour, came back and finished my reply....I wasn't trying to paraphrase you.
It just....HAPPENED.
Freak me out.
Live long and prosper. And may the...
Hmmm.
I appreciate BOTH. Star Wars is the first movie I remember seeing on the big screen, way back in 1977 when I was just a pup and many of you weren't born. Empire Strikes Back is still my favorite movie of all time, and I cried in Return of the Jedi when both Yoda and Darth Vader...
Since I'm also a Harry Potter Freak...and so you're aware when you pick up your copy that you haven't been ripped off...
The word count is a third again longer than "Goblet of Fire," but they've reduced the font size, so the book itself will still be around 800 pages, not 1,000-something...
