Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I just love it. The way it's set up so formal yet Muppety, tables and TABLES overflowin' with Muppets, segue music by the EM, Piggy's hilarious fall down the stairs, the touchin' endin'...
And o' course, Janice and Floyd introducin' the segement on "Muppet Music", and the musical clip-fest...
Sorry, you're right, Season 3---I forgot that I don't have Season 1 Janice in there (for reasons), and I was thinkin', "okay, DK is in 2nd batch, must be Season 2."
:o
WiGgY, you probably don't need any more help since you found that 3D model, but just in case, here's my pitiful attempt:
I've got 8 pictures on my site of the balcony from the Danny Kaye episode in Season 2 when Floyd :sing: and Janice :flirt: "replace" S&W  :boo: in that show...
LOL, good point, wolfy---I wonder if that's where the phrase "splitting headache" came from??? Good question! :)
And yep, it was Athena---Zeus's mate at the time was mentioned in a prophesy that her son would be greater than his father, so to prevent that, Zeus tricked Metis (the chic) into...
Oh, okay. Her, I believe---you, I wasn't so sure. LOL! :p  :D
That's kinda insulting though, to say that to you it was "just caves, LOL!", unless you mean when you were a kid (cause ain't you not seen it in years?), cause then, of course, you wouldn't be as thoughtful about it...
Jamie, are you sure about that? I was under the impression that it was a relatively low-budget show, which was a perk since everything came off so well and it looked so "real". I would swear to you I read that in a Muppety source...
You don't get the "chats with the moon"? :sympathy: I think one of the sweetest and most introspective things about "Bear".
And Treelo is a he.
And Bear sniffin' ya every day is one o' the greatest things there is!
True, you did say you didn't mean to sound mean---sorry if I seemed to jump too harshly. :o
I dunno though, I highly enjoy "Bear" on the rare times I get to see it, and it has great music, too. Luna is just so numinous and I love her time with Bear, and Pip and Pop crack me UP!
Really...
It's not weird at all.
If you can't enjoy "Fraggle Rock" as an adult, then I think that is somethin' weird.
Adults create these shows for children. Adults wrote and produced "Fraggle Rock". There are often bits of humor only adults would get in that and "Sesame Street".
C. S. Lewis...
I don't understand why you don't like it. :attitude:
When Bear sniffs me, I always tense up and giggle, cause it's so dang real. I can just imagine how tickly that'd feel.
And Bear and Luna at night? C'mon, how can you beat that?!
And Pip & Pop are hilarious!
Really!
They are...
