Lol, funny you should mention "Road to Rhode Island." When I referred to Brian and Stewie as a classic comedy team, I had Hope & Crosby in mind. Which I guess was the point...since the episode is called "Road to..." and Hope and Crosby starred in seven Road films, and...I'll be quiet...
Does the movie come in the complete set? What about "Goodbye, Farewell & Amen"? I've seen that one available separately. Just wondering if it was part of the set...
Thanks!
It's interesting to note that Gene Nelson, an actor and dancer, probably best known for his role as Will Parker in the film version of Oklahoma! (1955) worked with Eddie Saeta on the biopic of Hank Williams, Your Cheatin' Heart (1964). The role of Williams was intended for Elvis, but...
As am I! I mean...not that there's anything wrong with that, I...um...you know what I mean, lol! They're a classic comedy team!
Back on topic:
Giraffes should not be discriminated because of their height, darn it, and I propose to...oh...wrong thread...
Simpsons DVDs. Rock on! No...
That would be a fellow named Eddie Saeta, whose numerous other credits include The Three Stooges in Orbit and The Three Stooges Go Around the World in a Daze.
Put me down as another fan of season 1!:) IMO, it was the best season of the show. I'm certainly not saying that the quality dipped in later seasons, 'cause the show definitely got stronger. But if I had to choose, I would pick the first season as my favorite.
Glad I could refresh your memory on the college ep., Mrs. P.!
"Beat the Geeks" was a great show! As was "Win Ben Stein's Money."
Yeah, I have tons and tons of useless movie knowledge lodged in my cranium. But I have to say, it does come in handy when gambling...er, playing Trivial...
Okay, first The X-Files was released season by season in a rather large, bulky box set that retailed for about $100 apiece (though you could find them lower). Then the entire series was re-released in space-saving slim-line case sets, that retailed for about $50 apiece (though again, you can...
Oh yeah, the complete Brady Bunch is available with shag carpeting packaging!
I've started to collect The Untouchables with Robert Stack, but what kinda annoys me is that the first season (and probably subsequent seasons) is divided into two volumes. So right now I own season 1, volume 1 of...
Full House is also coming out in a complete series box set.
The complete Twin Peaks series is also coming out. The season 1 boxed set is out of print, and season two was recently released (on another label). What may entice folks to plop down $ for the set is the inclusion of the show's...
Yeah, "Deep Space Homer" is the one where he smuggles the potato chips aboard the shuttle, and he floats around to "The Blue Danube" when the bag bursts open, pursuing each chip...until he crashes into an ant colony.
"Homer Goes to College" is the one where, in order to keep his job at the...
Um...I'm not quite sure what you mean...
Lol, nah, it's just a lot of useless pop culture knowledge. I absorb it like a sponge. May come in handy if I ever get on "Jeopardy!" or something.
