Hrrrm.
Interesting.
My big ones that haven't changed a ho lot since I was about five are Sesame Street/Muppets, Star Wars, reading, and drawing. Other things have come and gone, but those things have been pretty constant. Throw in SuperFriends, I guess. And Fisher Price Little...
I don't think I've ever seen her interviewed on tv or radio or anyting--the interviews I've read have all been in print. I don't get out much.
Interesting perspective. And I'm glad she's retained creative control over Harry Potter, even if it means that the movies tend to be a bit...
So because she's an odd, headstrong woman, the books are a success?
I think the biggest reason beyond her knack for writing is that she's been able to create a sort of amalgam of myths, legends, and coming-of-age stories. I don't know that there's a lot of "originality" in...
I accept your point.
I also know there are people on this board who feel that if you weren't introduced to the Muppets via The Muppet Show, you've been cheated. And there are people who think if you haven't seen X or were introduced to them through X, then you 've been cheated...
I picked up one of these at the liberry and couldn't really get into it. Of course my personal beliefs don't necessarily jive with those associated with The Rapture and the Glorious Appearing, so that may have had something to do with it.
I thought they were interesting, but I've been a fan...
Wow I hated Space Jam.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this, but don't know yet if we'll be seeing it. Since we're averaging one movie every two months or so, I kinda doubt it.
Miles is so naughty.
:halo:
Quinnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
...I think the biggest problem I have with the Disney Cheapquels is that the "creative minds" at Disney can't come up with anything new to explore. The existing classic fairy tales and other stories behind the "classics" didn't have sequels; people simply told other stories with other...
...I've read a few articles about it, and it sounds pretty darn good, actually. This will be the first time (I think), they've actually had a BOY (not an adult woman, not an adult man) play Peter Pan. Novel idea, eh?
And "Hook" shouldn't count for anything. I was fine until the Lost...
...Can't wait for this one to come out.
I even dressed up as Harry for Halloween three years ago. Geek.
Yeah, I cried in Book Four too, and I'm sure I will in Book Five, no matter who bites it. Because she writes very well and I'm a big fat baby.
For whoever was asking about the...
I like it okay, although I do prefer the old red-and-gold with the classic font.
BUT, in another 5 - 10 years they'll do something else different, and we can complain about that change then.
It's nothing permanent. I'm glad to see it unified across the board on all the Muppet...
...a set of Muppet Babies Beanies would be awesome--if they did the main 8 (including Skeeter) that'd be sweet, but if they included Bunsen and Beaker, that'd rock my Muppet Baby world.
....and if they included Nanny's legs....

These look pretty darn cool, although I do wish they were from a nationwide chain instead of a regional one like Jack in the Box.
I'm impressed--for kid's meal toys they look really nice. And it's an interesting selection of characters--adding the Swedish Chef and Pepe to the Big Five...
That's excellent news--
The new products I'm most excited about are probably the Magic 8 Ball and the Dart Board...
And it's nice to see that Barnes & Noble will have a promotion prominently featuring the Muppets--even if it's just an end cap or a table or something, nationwide that will...
....I make the toys and draw the stuff, but I'm totally clueless when it comes to the website stuff (embarrassing to admit, especially to the likes of James V. FrogBoy), so my brother in-law helps me with the updates.
If I could do it myself, I would have overhauled it MANY...
