Right before I joined this forum, I was looking through this section of the forum and stumbled upon this thread. After looking at (and laughing at) all of your pictures, I figured that this place would be worth checking out. Several hours (and other threads later), here I am with an account at...
Is it sad that I had to Google both of those names? :o XD I don't know about John Callahan, but I like Ralph Steadman. His artwork looks funky.
I don't know what my art style is most like, to be honest. My main art influence is Avatar: The Last Airbender, followed by 9 (the movie...
Authors note: Thany you bouncingbabyfig! I'm glad that you are enjoying the story!
Just a bit of a general note to anyone who may be reading this: how am I doing with my characterization? Is it too over the top, or am I tking the Muppets out of character? Let me know if there is anything I can...
That was absolutely incredible, and I don't say that lightly. I was working on an essay when I was listening to this, and in the end I had to stop and give the interview my full attention, that's how captivating it was. I loved how he described his relationship with Jim henson, especially when...
I know this post is kind of old, but I must say this: where on earth do you live, 'cause I WANNA MOVE THERE. :concern: Seriously, in the city I live in getting a decent haircut is usually about $40-50 a pop, and that's the cheapest for a simple cut and straighten. Don't even get me started on...
Dude, Scooter is the man. I love that guy and I love his character. It boggles the mind, how people can hate him. O_o Seriously, the fact that he's about 14-16 makes him the prime candidate for so many jokes about teenagers, I'm really suprised that people haven't grabbed that and ran with it. I...
Author's note: I'm...well, I'm not exactly sure what the rules are for this kind of fic. I've seen a lot of absolutely beautiful fanfics and fan art made in tribute to Jim Henson, and don't get me wrong, that's absolutely wonderful and Jim deserves all of that and more, but I noticed that there...
I thought so. ;) I used to have a Wacom tablet for a while, but right now a friend of mine has borrowed it, and I need to get it back from him because working with a touchpad on a laptop is almost as bad as working with a mouse. DX
I'm not much of a romantic, but Floyd and Janice are one of my OTPs, second only to Wall-E x Eve. "Act Naturally" was one of the sweetest parts of the show! :)
My favorite childhood toys were my Beanie Babies, specifically one spider Beanie Baby named Spinner, and one pink teddy bear named Smitten. I still have them. :)
My second favorite childhood toy would have to be lego in general, but my Bionicles specifically. :D Bionicle was AWESOME.
Behold! Bunsen just found one of his diagrams.
Ok, now Bunsen looks too human! >_> I will get him down pat someday!
I'll hopefully be colouring these soon, once I get my tablet back from a friend of mine. :)
When my mother and I went, there were a few other adults in the movie, and no kids. Hey, what do you expect on a Monday night? The reaction overall was quite positive, and Mom and I left the theater feeling very, very happy and uplifted. :)
Guess who just saw the movie? :)
LOVED. THIS. MOVIE. Loved the character interaction. Loved the writing (Jason Segel, James Bobbin and whoever else had a hand in writing the script, you guys all ROCK. THANK YOU). Loved the plot. Loved how every joke and act was PERFECT and hit all of the right...
^ This. Seriously, they don't even have the excuse that it's stuck in Development H*ll, because ITS ALREADY BEEN DEVELOPED. What GIVES, Disney?
Here's hoping that the financial success of the new movie will convince them to release it.
I AM SEEING THE MOVIE WITH MY MOM TOMORROW! :D And to celebrate, I will be wearing my very favorite T-shirt, my "I heart nerds" Bunsen and Beaker T-shirt.
Hello Newsmanfan! :D That would be the poem by Shelley. It's not a Watchman reference, but Adrien Veidt is cool too, so I can live with that.
I've got my eye set on becoming a clinical psychologist so that I can become a therapist or counsellor. :) I love it, because not only am I getting to...
...Y-you mean there's no editing button? :concern: *pouts*
Sorry for the double post guys, I can't seem to be able to edit my original post to add more stuff on it. Mods, is there some other way to do that?
Favorite Classic Arcade Game: Tetris :p
Favorite Books: Sooo many, but "The Book Thief"...
^ Possibly! I'm a bit busy with term papers right now (thanks for nothing college er, stay in school kids! :p), but I might try drawing him sometime in the near future, because, let's face it, he's a cool character.
I love your username, BTW. That was one of my favorite scenes in the Muppet...
