Imagination is a huge part of my life. I find it a lot harder to use it here at home than I do at University, because I had greater freedom to act the way I wanted to there.
For example, me and my friends randomly went to the local park and played on the swings and slides and stuff for about...
If you listen carefully to that line, I actually say, "Kidnapped the lec hem bus and said, 'Hi there, matey...'" Lec hem being, I suppose, a rapper's way of saying The Electric Mayhem. :sing:
And spam is like gross ham...eew...
Oh, and Pep, listen out for the Rizzo smilie line!
Yeah, my love for Peter Pan came about when I realised that if I grow up I'll become a Pirate. And then when I started sympathising with Hook I realised I must have grown up and have tried to return to being Peter ever since.
*huge grin* T to the K, was perhaps the first line I thought of.
So glad you enjoyed the That Announcer reference. When I recorded it I thought I had another verse to go after it, but had somehow run out of time. I think it's kinda fitting that this line finishes it off. Trivia, I recorded...
Bittersweet. Yes. Definatly that, because in staying within their imaginations they are iscolating themselves from the real world and have to leave friends and family behind. In fact, they begin to FORGET their friends and family and that is truely sad.
Peter Pan in Scarlet was a huge deal when it was released, because it was released by Great Ormond Street Hospital as an official sequel.
Apparently there are some official prequels as well, such as "Peter and the Starcatchers" but I'd rather keep the magic of NOT knowing some things...
Here it be! Decided to whack it up on SendSpace instead of YouTube so you could all have a copy.
Here you go! I'll post the lyrics later: http://www.sendspace.com/file/bfw6mp
People should hear it first, then get the lyrics, works better that way.
I realised yesterday that I haven't yet read the new book "Peter Pan in Scarlet" and so have ordered it.
One of the concepts in that book, that if you reply when someone asks what you want to be when you grow up, you will definatly grow up, is amazing.
MC Baby...
I've just finished recording an MC rap, based on elements of MC but to the beat of Ice Ice Baby. I'm currantly trying to load it onto YouTube or somilar so you can get your ears around it.
Yes...I think I've found me calling.
Bea:zany:{*laughs}regard
Everything Pan means a lot to me, from the play to the book, to the original Disney version, the live-action Peter Pan, Return to Neverland, Hook, and even Finding Neverland. There's a fantastic magic about Peter Pan, and the fantisy that you can escape to a world where you will never grow up...
Father: *snatches up hand with...other hand* AAaaaaaaaaHH! *shivers* And it's still moving! *kicks at Chihuahua demons* Someone pass me a hover...these miniture dogs are barking up the wrong tree...
Father: OOWCH! *shaking arm in pain* How am I gunna make tea NOW! *shaking arm much* Or use a sword! *stumbles* ...Hevej would be soo jealous if I got a hook though...*stumbles forward again* But seriously, OW!
(OOC: Please tell me we can fix this...)
