My ex-boyfriend's mom made me laugh with a message she sent me (we exchange letters back and forth on FB, and she's a sweetie :D). She lives all the way in Southern Ontario so I don't get to talk to her very often.
Anyways, in her letter, she was like, "It was so cold today! Four below...
I was a huge addict to TVTropes, but I've now mostly cut it out of my life. That being said, I do have an account on there (Ozythehaystack) and the one page I still do look at on occasion is the Fan Fic Recommendations page. :)
My Muppet fandom is expressed from wearing my Kermit, Animal, Bunsen and Beaker tees in public to wearing a muppet costume at conventions (I'll let you guess which one :D ).
"Highly expensive rented house? Oh dear..." Ozy muttered as she deftly stepped around the icy patch in her high-heeled winter boots, fresh apple-cinnamon pie a la Ozy's Dad in hand.
I love the first Ice Age movie, it was one of my favorites growing up (it was the waterfall scene and the bit in the cave that sold the movie for me), but I really didn't like the sequels. :( It's like they stripped away everything that was good about the first Ice Age and replaced it with dumb...
White/Caucasian and as far as I know I am pure Newfoundlander, LOL. Mostly English, might have some Irish and Welsh in the bloodline as well.
I'm also a born-again believer in Christ, and I think Bill Bubble Guy has summoned up my views on that pretty well already. I am completely incapable of...
I'll be blunt, I really didn't start liking Miss Piggy until the newest Muppets movie where she told Kermit off for being a wishy-wash in their relationship AND then made him work hard to get her back. THAT is a very mature, classy way of handling that kind of situation, and Miss Piggy went up...
Newsmanfan, if I may say so, that was one of the most beautiful, haunting things I've ever read. Wow.
As for me, I went to church with UC, worked on my Spanish project, cleaned my room and worked on a cosplay outfit that just had a major setback. Oh well, the more you know and all that. :D
Some guy fell asleep during my Computer Sciences class this morning and he started snoring. Loudly. Enough so that the professor at the front of the auditoreum looked up and was all, "Is somebody asleep?"
MADE. MY. DAY. XD Snoring dude, you're awesome.
Went to church, watched more Firefly, went to Wal-mart and talked with UC about the future. :D Now I'm working on my Spanish assignment. 'Tis a good day!
"Here lies beloved Zoe, my autumn flower...somewhat less attractive now that she's all corpsified and gross."
Can you tell what I've been watching lately? :)
's cool, for me most of the fun is making the costumes themselves, figuring out all the little challenges and quirks. :) Plus sewing is very calming for me so that helps a lot. I've got four costumes under my belt so far, with another two almost completely finished (just gotta buy wigs) and a...
